I was a bit different. I had one child, and always wanted more. Took me 15 years to get pregnant again, with twins. But I was 36 years old at this time and had them at 26 weeks, so I was terrified to even attempt it again. I've never been so thankful for my 3 kidlets. My oldest son passed at age 35, so mow I have my 21 year old b/g twins about to graduate college and am super blessed. But I knew after them, we were done. God will lead the way. You all are in my prayers and your boys are adorable and I couldn't agree more. Take time to slow down and smell the roses, time passes so quickly!!! Much love to you all

I was 26, had our 3rd baby, and instead of listening to my heart, I let others tell me “I should be done with babies” and had my tubes ties. Biggest mistake/regret ever. During the 7 years after our 3rd was born, I asked God to take the desire for another baby away from me. Instead, He put the people in my path that led to a tubal reversal. I was thankful, but it came with a price in more ways than one. I had a tubal pregnancy, full term pregnancy, 12 week miscarriage, full term pregnancy & 2 more miscarriages. After our 5th baby was born, I knew beyond a shadow of doubt, I was done! It was so hard to explain, but that desire for another baby was no longer there. I had completed our family. If there’s still a doubt or question about more children, I say wait , pray &Trust God to answer one way or another.

As I watched your video it took me back to when my 3 were little ones. I had a boy, girl, boy and your boys walking in the woods took me right back to when I did things like that with my 3. My kids are totally grown up and , sadly, my youngest boy passed away 10 years ago. Those priceless memories are there as well as pictures. Thank you for posting that video- it helped me remember those days so long ago that were over in the blink of an eye. Prayers for the decision you and Harold are trying to make about another baby. I remember making that decision myself more than 30 years ago. For me I knew that we could not afford another baby as well as that fact that my husband had a drug problem. I think that the answer will come to you and you will know for sure that 4 is enough or that God has another waiting for you . God bless

We always wanted more. I couldn't get pregnant again. Our youngest will be a freshman in college. We still wish we could of had more but we worried about money and then it became too late. I suggest if either of you desire one more to go ahead and try for more especially if you are still young and healthy. I would wait a year for your body to take a break from having a c section. My stitches from my c section have ripped and it hurts really bad to have them rip. Go for one more baby is my recommendation. You are going to have either 5 adorable boys or 4 adorable boys and a gorgeous daughter. I am glad you are doing well. I have missed watching you. I am happy you have taken a much needed break. We're right there with you. We have 2 children and are very much on the fence about a third. I've been back and forth so many times since having my youngest 3 years ago, and for whatever reason my husband and I are feeling really pulled to make a final decision to either try for another very soon or be content with what we have and move on. There are so many considerations and emotions wrapped up in this decision, and I know that no matter which way it goes I will be fine and happy but also sad about some of the sacrifices I'd be making one way or the other. I've been trying to let go and see what's put on my heart over time, but this week specifically it's come up again between my husband and I, and I don't think I'll feel fully at peace until I can find some clarity on what I'm actually feeling. Praying hard for guidance (for myself and for your beautiful family)!

I totally know what you're feeling right now. I have 7 kids, and after the first 6, I always felt like we weren't done and like someone was missing. I wondered if I would ever feel "done." After baby #6, we took a long time talking, praying, wondering, considering. (Much longer than the rest - our first 4 kids are 19 months apart, then 27, 33, 35 months. So we definitely needed time to know what to do and get our prayers answered.) But ultimately we knew we weren't done and went for baby #7. I will say that even while I was pregnant with the last one, I knew we were done. I felt done. I didn't look around for a missing child, our home and heart felt full and complete. Not saying that's what you should do - just telling you my experience that the "done" feeling does come. And now I can't imagine having more. I don't feel like I want another baby or even another toddler or child. Our family is complete and happy.

Rachel there are three things I know for sure, one you look so great after having four boys! Girl you look fabulous!! Two, Leo is the greatest big brother on earth. Three, I believe you should try to not be thinking of whether or not there may be another baby and just let God’s timing see what happens. I have 4 boys too! Very similar ages to yours. I’m not done, but I think God is already preparing my heart for my 5th being the last. 🤍 I know we have one more and that feels great for our family. I knew I wanted a 5th when I was pregnant with my last baby. I was like there is no way that was the last time I find out I’m pregnant, pull out the newborn clothes and give birth. Agh it’s all so amazing. I’ll definitely look back on these days with such joy! What I took away from everything was that doing things “intentionally” was going to be the basis of your relationship and marriage and family. I see that all the time. Buying that piece of property up the road from your home with the waterfront, for example. the answer will come if you look deep inside and pray on it..I think that the 4 boys are perfect and happy and healthy and that provides a well rounded and complete family unit. I wanted four boys but was unable to have more than two, but am truly grateful that I listened to my inner self and did not want to so called push my luck after two life-threatening deliveries. Knowing when the right time to stop having children is not always easy but you are already truly blessed with 4 miracles ....it might be time to focus on the future.

I just had my third baby and i feel like this is the thing that’s on my mind.. i am so grateful for these three healthy kids.. but it is also hard to choose to let this be it, because i also have this strong feeling that there is still a little boy waiting for us. Fast forward to when my baby was 6 months old (now he’s 9 months old) I got clarity out of nowhere that our family is complete with our boys. Not sure if this will help, but me and my husband decided before we ever had kids (I'm pregnant with baby #3 now), that we were just going to leave the number up to the Lord. We'll have as many as he gives us. He opens and closes the womb. I think about it often too, how if it's His will, this could be my last baby or I could have like 5 more if He wills! I find comfort in the fact that we've left it up to the Lord. I would feel so guilty if we decided we were good with 3, but He had plans for us to have another and He had huge plans for that baby. I don't mean to come off as Holier than Thou, this is just my thought process. I think you've done a great job so far and I love watching your family grow. Each of your boys are so sweet and adorable and they really love each other well! The decision is obviously up to you, but I do encourage you to give it up to the Lord. You never know, maybe 4 is what He had in mind for your family. But maybe it's 6? Who are we to get in the way of God's plan for our lives? I hope this gives a little insight. We are so similar! I'm a boy momma to 4 small boys. I struggled with this same question! Well, our youngest turned 18 months and we decided to go for it! We immediately got pregnant, praise God! My husband is in the Navy and his schedule dictates everything, including babies. Lol But God just knew we needed another baby. After a year or trying to find the closer, I realized I needed to make a logical decision without ever “knowing” we were finished. I feel it’s in Gods hands more than ours. I gave birth to 5 and none were planned but I had seven all together because my husband had 2 in his first marriage, I had 4 in my first marriage and my youngest whose now 25 is ours. I was happy when I had her but I knew because of my age and being a high risk pregnancy as well as other things that she would definetly be my last. I still had times after I got fixed that I really felt the need for another baby but all in all my family was perfect . My youngest daughte has a 10month old little girl and is pregnant with her 2nd, due in December. Very unexpected so took her time to adjust. We have 15 grandkids all together and love them all like crazy. It’s the greatest!

Im there with you with not knowing. I had my first in Nov 2017 and then got pregnant 9 months later on accident and lost it at 22wks along. We had our rainbow baby last yr in July and she will be 1 yr old tomorrow and i went into the pregnancy not knowing if she would be the last. I want one more but physically idk if my body and mental health could go through another pregnancy. That loss in 2019 threw me for a loop obviously and made last yrs pregnancy very anxiety filled. We just had our 4th (9 months ago) my hubby only wanted 2 and I wanted 6 😆 after we had our 3rd I was pretty much where your at, hubby was content with 3 and I didn’t know 100% if I was.. I went on to feel like you did up untill our 3rd turned 1 and it got abit easier i said to my husband “let’s have another baby?” Then we did 😆 after our 4th I felt much more a sense of completeness. Don’t get me wrong although parenting is challenging I would always be open to more if my husband twisted my arm 🤣 but I know we are done now and my hubby has had the snip since. So that chapter has come to an end for us and it’s so bitter sweet! We had our fourth, and we had a conversation about it being our last. And i really felt incomplete and so sad at that thought. Then I got pregnant with our fifth, and when I knew I was pregnant and after the bout of excitement while pregnant I absolutely knew she was the last. Prior to her being born.

Rachel, trust in the Lord and lean on Him. His timing is always perfect!! He will reveal to you when the time is right.. and also, don't stress or mentally prepare like u said. just let it flow naturally.

After our third my husband and I said we were done, but we always said we were open to God saying otherwise. I thought about it all the time though, if we were really done. I prayed that if we were to have another we'd both be on the same page about it. God put it on both our hearts separately the same month that we were to have another. We had our fourth baby and we both knew she was the last. We both felt so settled and complete. She's now 3 1/2 and we still feel complete.

Your having a daughter for your last baby. God said multiply you will know you don’t need a time limit. I think you will have a daughter I have thought this from the start. I have never had kids but my friend here has 9 some are adopted she has had 5 of her birth ones she knew that was enough and got fixed. Each and everyone are Gods blessing. ❤
