I fully understand the not wanting to be touched or talked too. With my first the nurse asked my husband to rub my feet. I looked at him and said "if you touch me I will deliver this baby alone" 😂

It took us 12 months the first time too, it was such a long, difficult journey and it ended in a rare partial molar pregnancy. After that we were told to wait 6 months before trying, we waited 5, from there it took us 8.5 months and I’m due in just a couple days. It’s crazy though because we’re both in our 20s and all the doctors just say that I have some degree of PCOS. Both times I took femara at least twice, the second pregnancy I injected the ovadril (ovulation) shot in myself twice. BUT I’m grateful for all the knowledge I’ve learned, the value I’ve gained in human life, and the strong empathy I have for other struggling women ❤.

My second baby was 43 weeks! I swear, I was so big during his pregnancy. But it was late summer, and I was miserable. I kept asking my ob to induce labor; he refused, said it was too dangerous! My son finally decided to slide out- no contractions, right onto the bed. He weighed 9lbs, 5 oz. at birth- AND had Postmaturity Syndrome. Nobody had ever told me about it, it was so rare. However, there were a lot of problems with my son- all because my doctor let me go to 9 months and 25 days in my pregnancy! My son is now soon to be 40 years old. He had a very bad start in life, but eventually made it. But he STILL has issues. I actually did my thesis on Postmaturity after he was born, and there was very little information on it to even write about. So I interviewed parents of children who were born late. Several of them had the same issues as my son; and their doctors told them all that they didn’t know WHY. I got an A ++ on my paper, and was asked to give a speech about this syndrome to all young adults attending my university- to warn them. This was way back in the early 80’s- so no Dr. Google lol.

I had both my sons at 10 days late. My doctor induced my first and was going to induce my second boy at 10 days late but I already was in labor that day and had him in 45 minutes. I’m glad I didn’t go later than I did. This was in 1985 and 1987.

Prouf of you!! I 1972, I told my ob, after being 2 weeks overdue and 15 hours of nonproductive contactions, rither he did something to move the labor along or I was calling my cousin, an ob Dr from Oregon to come deliver me. Dr finally appeared and said “ we have a problem, this big baby is stuck in the birth canal”-- 3 way epsiotomy and 52 stitches is how my son was delivered. Yes, he had problems also.

This is what happened to me. My son was 43.5 weeks gestation. People couldn't believe I was pregnant that long. He was 9 lbs 2 Oz and he is on the spectrum but never tested. He will participate in any testing or therapy.

My second pregnancy I was GBS+ and did not arrive in time to have antibiotics during labor. I arrived to the hospital fully dilated 😅 baby had to get preventative antibiotics after he was born. Thay also meant he had to be in the nicu (their protocol for iv meds on babies) which was super hard on our breastfeeding journey. I sat with him all day each day he was there, but they had so many doctors checking on him like he was a sick baby, but he was healthy. They were so concerned about his weight dropping even though he was born at 9lbs5oz. If i could go back in time, i would just ask them to back off a little on that stuff.

I labored for 28 hours with contractions lasting about 90 seconds at 1 minute in between with first before finally giving in for c-section. His head was so large he never descended. I never dilated with any of them.

I was the same way I didn’t want to be talked to or touched. My husband tried once and I yelled for him to never do this to me again and get away and he ran to a corner!😂 I was a mess with my second but my first I really didn’t know what to expect and 3 weeks late they admitted me and started pitocin. With the third my water broke at 3:30am I took a shower fixed my hair and we headed to the hospital at 6am. Walked the halls till i couldn’t walk any longer then delivered at 10:36am. A great 3rd delivery. I gave natural with all. Definitely my 3rd was a great experience! Second was the worst and also they kept losing the heart beat so attached wires. It was scary for sure. But atleast all my deliveries were pretty fast.
