That moment when Emma lets out that first cry brought tears to my eyes. 😭 When my daughter was born, she wasn’t really crying at all or breathing much and they had to spend a few minutes aspirating her lungs and whatnot before she finally did... it was the most terrifying 4 minutes of my life. Rachelle when you started crying, I started crying! And i started balling! When you asked if she was breathing! I cant imagine the flush of emotions you feel delivering your rainbow baby after your angel baby. My heart is so happy for you. Just know that any emotions you feel are normal. Some mommas get sad looking at their newborns after having stillborns and its normal! Even if it happens 1 to 3 weeks after delivery. If you feel that way know you arent the only one who has felt it. And it doesnt mean you loved Brynn more than Emma. Complex emotions are no joke. You have an army of support behind you in this new chapter.

I cant stop the tears flowing from my face right now. My husband and I suffered a stillbirth july 17th 2010 just 6 days before my due date to a beautiful baby girl. I too understand the loss and emptiness that you feel but i also completely understand what its like to give birth following a stillbirth as we have a super healthy 6 year old boy. I know the feeling you had walking into that hospital, the feeling you had when reality hit that THIS CAN HAPPEN and bring a new baby home. And then to hear that cry once that baby is born, is like no other cry. The feeling of relief is indescribable. The first video of your I watched was your stillbirth story. I sat and cried along with you, someone I had just “met” over your loss. I immediately binge watched all your videos and waited daily for your videos.
