i lost two stone this year and got to my goal weight by calorie counting and being in a deficit. I used myfitnesspal to track them and I was eating about 1550-1800 calories a day xx

The BEST way i found to get fitter is doing sport i genuinely enjoy and incorporating healthy small changes if i want a change that is actually going to be long term . Not see it as a thing to do just as a part of your life routine! Its a longer process but is is definitely the best way mental health wise too xxx LOVE U RACH

I’ve just started with a PT and she has me using MFP, you do get used to it, I plan my meals the night before so I at least have them tracked and a plan and I can change stuff around if I need to😄

I started using it... as well as working out... but it quickly led to me becoming VERY conscious and restrictive because of all the numbers. I don’t recommend it at all... please do be aware that it can lead to being really restrictive💕 u don’t need calorie apps... that’s not healthy. Please just eat a balanced diet, move your body and be patient💕 calorie apps and lots of exercise have all resulted in my eating disorder... be safe💕

I’ve just re downloaded my fitness pal and I struggle to keep up with putting atuff in too. My sister is an online coach and she actually fills in my fitness pal the night before for the next day. So in the day u already know ur food fits into your goal and meets any nutritional goals you have like an amount of protein per day etc.

With the fitness pal you can scan the barcode of the food, and to remember to track set alarms on your phone an hour after you usually eat you meals and label them track food and set the for every day, hope this helps, I’ve found it works well for me ❤️

I use my fitness pal all the time and it helped me lose two stone! More than anything it just helped educate me about what is actually in food so it made it so much easier to eat healthily! Love your vids!

your coconut ice latte looks unreal! would love to see more of your health journey :D i have used MFP for yearsss..i don't even use it to be strict with myself and stay in a deficit or anything, its just out of interest to see how much i'm eating..and then if i put on weight it's not a surprise. it's good it holds me accountable and its not that i dont allow myself to have extra calories, its just that it keeps me accountable for it so i cant lie to myself and pretend i havent done that or wonder why i've put on weight when in my mind i think i've been eating well or whatever .

I’ve tried to do calorie deficit so many times and it’s REALLY hard. I don’t mean to be discouraging but don’t beat yourself up if you don’t stick to it all the time. The only thing that has really worked for me is keto and regardless of the crap people talk about it, there are doctors that have recommended it and plenty of people like the lifestyle. Just some food for thought!

My fitness pal is amazing! I found it more helpful to prep a weeks worth of food at a time and freeze. That way you can measure things out once a week instead of every day. I lost 30kgs, mostly without exercise, only tracking my calories. I was on 1200 a day

I’m in a calorie deficit right now and using My Fitness Pal. Within the space of 2 weeks I’ve lost just over 6lbs....so definitely stick at it if that’s something you’re wanting to do💛💪🏼

I used myfitnesspal to go into a calorie deficit and it worked amazing as I was doing Chloe Ting workouts also (only did 15-30 mins a day but they are HARD) ended up loosing a stone in a month and a half! hope this helps x

I lost 4/5 stone last year, I was eating around 1200 calories, on my fitness pal or calorie counter+ & was burning approx 400 cals at the gym (cardio) 3/4 times a week, also getting 10k steps in a day😀 hope this helps❤️

Calorie deficit is when you eat less calories than your body needs I’m trying to gain weight and muscle so I’m on a calorie surplus (more calories than my body needs)

heyy, i’m a personal trainer in manchester @keepfitwithjay on insta i find with myfitnesspal it’s easier if you plan what you are going to eat the day before or the morning and put it all in the app so that way you don’t forget and if you do have something else or eat somthing you put on there you can just delete it or change it for the food you did eat, also make sure the measurements are correct sometimes when you scan a barcode it doesn’t automatically put one serving. it takes a while to get used to it but once you do it becomes a lot easier, i’m sure you will smash your weight loss journey! xxx

Loved watching this, but am I the only person who would have liked to have known the calories for each meal? That breakfast alone would have taken just about all my daily calories, so I'm curious to know how there would have been a calorie deficit for the day. Best of luck though x
