My favorite kind of video. So glad you decided to start them again. Regarding washing the shower curtain. Put some clean hand towels and washcloths in we it and add some vinegar. The vinegar will cut the soap scum and the towels will help wipe it off

Curious as to how long it takes you to do a deep clean like this. I’ve been struggling with energy lately and it’s hard for me to do everything you just did in one day. Any tips??

I started about 11am and finished about 6pm and then did the bathroom which took about 1.5 hours the next morning 🩷 So i split it up, felt it was too much for one day. If i had have started earlier maybe I could have got it done but I also tend to break it up into rooms. That makes it easier

I get your energy struggle. The key for me has to be spread cleaning out over a few days and takes lots of breaks in between.

I sometimes suffer with same issue. I find 5x5 is good. Pick 5 rooms/tasks for 5 mins each. Sometimes i do just 5mins per hour. Also if you your energy is low you can just 2 x 5 mins and skip the rest but it looks no worse. You will be amazed how much difference 5 mins makes. There are a few KZbin videos on The Secret Slob channel.

For the wonky night table you can use cork, a sticky felt or you can make it out of felt and glue it under the leg to make up for the unevenness and no more wonkiness : )

Rachel,I find that if I put in a light colored towel with the shower curtain, it brushes against the end section of the shower curtain to get the bottom cleaner. Wash the load on the highest temperature possible for the curtain material, & add a whitening agent to the regular detergent. You could use a pre wash spray to the bottom stained area as well.

Suggestion... 😊 because you have the door off the kitchen that goes into your bathroom and then you can enter your bedroom from your bathroom, could you close your bedroom door that leads into the lounge which would then give you a wall of space in your room , and then put your desk up against the other side of the bedroom door in the lounge and this would not make the walking space where your desk is in the hallway not so narrow?? Just a Suggestion if you didn't mind anything up against the door and not the use of the door. 😊

Love how your interior is turning out. The desk is cute and looks good in your space 🤗 For your shower curtain, if it is white, I recommend letting the bottom soak in a bucket with warm water and some sodium percarbonate (or sodium carbonate peroxide, I think it's called), it will whiten it, and then you put your curtain into the washing machine (I use this for my shower curtain, as the water is very hard where I live and make the bottom of the curtain orange-ish. I use it also with my reusable make up remover pads before putting them in the washing machine. It works really well). As a cat mom of 2 😅 I think more and more of getting an upholstery cleaner (especially to remove some stains from the carpets...), do you have any recommendations? I'm looking into it, but it' nice to have others' opinions. Best regards.

You can buy little sticky anti-scratch pads that are supposed for furniture. Add enough until it doesn't wobble! Also, if you put a round or rectangular tray on your bathroon countertop and put all your products on it, it looks way less cluttered because it is grouped.

Have you thought about getting a medicine cabinet and putting it on the wall ( near the sink) in your bathroom so you can store the products you use daily? You can also get a floor bathroom cabinet/ storage to clear off the corner in you bathroom.

In Canada (Toronto girlie 💁‍♀️) we have a cleaner called Vim, it’s amazing for deep cleaning and works better than the Pink spray, smells amazing too! I ordered the pink stuff in a jar and I’ve yet to use it, might try it in my sinks with a sponge daddy like you use!

Love your decor. Your desk is perfect but I would move it to the wall where you have your mirror and move the little bookcase behind the couch to the wall where you put your desk. I would move the mirror to the bedroom. I would put a floor lamp behind the couch. Sorry for butting in. Try it and see.

Just wondering where you buy silk pillowcases from?... i had one from adairs that i had for 4 years but then i ripped so i bought one from Kmart (yes, i know, big quality difference), i love the feeling of it but every time that i use it, i break out with literally 50 small pimple-ish bumps on the side of my face that is touching the pillowcase. 🤷‍♀
