Needle felting is something that looks fun but in practice I found unexpectedly annoying. It also expensive. As I’m probably not the only one who found it annoying, keep your eyes peeled in thrift stores etc for part used kits that people have started and not finished. You can find a surprising amount of stuff that way for next to nothing and at least get chance to try it and see if it is worth saving up for. I thought I’d love it. Two different friends bought me two different kits to try. I hate them both and never finished either. I also tried making stuff at work in a group activity, hated that too. No idea. Seems like it should be fun but I just hate that stabbing motion.
