I’d love to see a Free People inside the dressing room! There clothes are also SO expensive but unique and I love the few pieces I have

Also their sizing is wild. I bought the viral striped sweatshirt on Poshmark and I could honestly wear a size Small (normally an XL to XXL). It's meant to be huge as the style, but it's so dramatic 😂

I love your try-on videos! I’d love to see these be a little bit longer, maybe including like 2 more outfits. Just personally, obviously you’re doing great and should do what works for you 😊❤

Good to know!! I will try and do that in future dressing rooms 🥰

They do 40% off at least once a month it feels like. Often extra discounts on top as well. If you like their clothes I would recommend signing up for text alerts for sales. I have never paid more than half price for them

I have gotten so much Madewell clothing on Thredup. Most of it is really good quality and lasts a long time.

I love Madewell (I basically only own their jeans at this point), but being a part of their insider's program and focusing on sales is the way to go. I would say that these styles and pieces do hold up to the test of time (in the pieces I have invested in). I think it's just a matter of when you can buy and if you can wait for a sale -- or get secondhand.
@gracelcoffman3 күн бұрын
Agreed! I only wear their jeans now and I never pay full price either due to a sale, coupons from my generous mother in law, or secondhand.

If you do an online try on, I’d love to see LL Bean! I’ve been buying from them recently since they have more natural fibers like 100% cotton sweaters but they’re still kind of aesthetically different than what most folks our age are used to

It’s so refreshing to see a KZbinr try and critique clothes WITHOUT buying them and contributing to clothing waste and transportation emissions! I feel guilty for watching content creators who are constantly buying clothes then donating or shipping them back.

This was interesting! I've never seen a Madewell store before. I just ordered some of their clothes on Thread Up to try it out at a lower price point.

Madewell has the comfiest jeans but I’m not willing to pay the full price. In LA it’s actually super easy to find them second hand at Crossroads and similar thrift stores (or obviously online). I never pay more than $30 for “as new” condition :)

Pausing the video at one minute in to tell you your makeup looks amazing. It just looks fresh and pretty. I’m about to look back through your videos and see if you’ve done a tutorial or makeup favorites. In the meantime, can you tell me what blush you’re wearing?

Hey Rachel! I noticed 12 days ago in the Zara try on you put 46' for hips, but this one 42 - was it a typo or measurements change? We have the same body (with 46 lol) so it's super helpful for me to imagine how clothes might fit / what size 😅
@RachelRamblesКүн бұрын
Omgosh I’m so sorry! I type so fast I make a lot of typos and over rely on autocorrect which obviously does not apply to numbers. 46” is correct.
@kimberlyshust4814 күн бұрын
Madewell also has a program where you can get $20 toward a new pair of jeans by donating jeans in-store.

I liked this video, I have never seen this brand before or noticed it anywhere. The quality was much better than the Zara/Halara brands. That being said it was very pricy & the clothing designs weren’t very innovative. I did like the burgundy sweater & dress with the right undergarments. However, for the price point you have to really think about it, if you are getting a different/unique item that is worth it.

I like when you include the material because that’s really telling for me personally. I don’t buy polyester anymore unless it’s a waterproof type jacket or leggings. So spending $90 or $120 on a polyester casual shirt? Or a casual wear dress? Absolutely not.
@RachelRamblesКүн бұрын
Good to know! I definitely need to learn more about materials because I have a rudimentary understanding at best right now.

Ya. I can't afford to spend $100+ for one item. That is obnoxious. I don't care what the quality is, that is ridiculous. If I loved the items I'd try to thrift them or find them from Poshmark or something like that.

Definitely. That seems to be the consensus!
