Trying my best to stick with the Wall Pilates plan for January. I did so well for November and most of December. I got the flu just before New Year's and had to stop. 😢 And I'm still not out of the woods! Mostly, but a little further to go. I'm determined to finish this month strong tho!

i think i might’ve been doing something wrong maybe i wasn’t close enough to the wall or i was too close but when i was doing the workouts i felt it more in my inner thigh and my hamstrings.. how do i fix? i love your videos by the way they are so helpful☺️.

Thank u! For hamstrings yes, you need to be closer and/or bring your feet lower on the wall. It isn’t “wrong” to feel them too! They work more than in a floor bridge. But if it’s uncomfortable try those adjustments!

Hi Rachel! I found your videos like a month ago and this is my first time doing a challenge! I really like your routines ❤ I do have trouble with the bridges with my feet on the wall... It starts hurting in my upper back. I don't know if it's because I'm out of shape or if I'm doing something wrong haha. I usually end up doing the bridges with my feet on the ground... Is that ok? It depends on how you eat.. if you lose weight it will get smaller, unless you make sure to really train the glutes if your goal is to get them bigger. If the goal is bigger I would do my standing leg workouts with weights

I get it, people like glute-focused pilayes, but I feel like all wall plates that are for lower body are all about pelvic tilts and gluten raises and nothing for quads or inner outer thighs. I like side lying pilates or the inner thigh scissors on backs. Can you do more of these? You have like two all sode lying that's it.

Yes with wall pilates because of the position it usually is more glute work..are u looking for sidelying work for wall pilates workouts or just in general? my strength workouts have much more quad work. I don’t do many inner thigh workouts bc I feel like there isn’t much benefit if the desired result is fat loss in the inner/outer thighs.. you are much better off doing bigger compound movements like squats and lunges, and focusing on eating in a calorie deficit to lose fat there, that’s why I don’t make many dedicated inner/outer thigh workout

@rachelsfitpilates I like side lying, and they work just as much as any glute work since it is a muscle group that you are targeting with resistance (gravity or ankle weights). They are good for low key workouts and Joseph pilates invented the side series. Ballerinas do floor barre for legs on side. What does fat loss have to do with it? I'm literally overpriced and have a hamstring injury so having other lower body workouts is valuable for a lot of reasons.

Does anyone else’s shoulder blades really hurt after these workouts? I use a yoga mat but with all the pressure on the blades for most of the workout, makes it hard :(
