Try dragging super-thin filaments of the black pupal into the colored iris just once. You may find that it gives them a new level of realism. If you look at pictures of lizard eyes, they often have several different color variations between the pupal and the iris too.

the dragon eye was the very first tutorial I watched and I made quite a few rock dragon eyes... You have inspired me to paint them again and try different techniques that you have taught me... This tutorial was awesome and they looked sooooo gorgeous and sparkly... mine wont be on a phone grip but would love to do a pink cute one for my little girl grandbaby coming in august and a matching green funny one for her big brother..... Holy moly! I love all you do! I do dragons eyes with nail polish, and I love purple! Oh...have you heard of Tri-Art? Their a company out of Ont. and they have a product called Liquid Glass. So easy to apply, dries fast and is shiny!

That's awesome! I was addicted to purple for a really long time. Not sure what my next color binge is going to be I really do like neon green but my all-time favorite of all time is black!
