oh my gosh! Most helpful video ever for me as a color pencil artist who is also getting into watercolor. This is the VERY BEST imagery of a black cat in tons of angles, so I can better understand this particular breeds interesting hair structure! Awesome, awesome, awesome. But I’d like to give you a constructive critique in the spirit of helping you improve your content. It’d be easier to follow your tutorial if you kept all the superfluous videos on sides and corners out of your tutorials. This way we’d be able to follow what you’re teaching us much better. Oh my goodness I love love love this painting! I love black cats anyway, you make this look easy, I'll bet its not when I try, but I will try a similar painting. One tip I have for white gel pens, the ink gums up quite quickly, if you draw on the back of your finger it frees up the ball and flows better x

Would wetting the back of the paper as well as the front help? I like doing that when I want to paint wet in wet to keep surface at the right wetness level.

I love Daniel Smith's Moonglow and please consider looking into Bloodstone Genuine, as well. Both are amazing colors, where the pigment tends to separate into beautiful shades. I enjoy painting with Holbein's Peacock Blue and have many tubes of Winsor/Newton and a few from M. Graham. It's true what they say---buy the best you can afford.

You can get it from pans - it just takes a bit more scrubbing of the paint to reactivate it!

The video of the cat and your son are distracting from the painting. Can't watch both at same time. What is your goal? That space in the screen could be used to show the painting in more detail/closer if it didn't have to share the screen with ref photo AND your cat live. Perhaps you can create a separate channel of vids of you living on your cat and your kid. I am interested in painting techniques.

These videos take hours to edit, many more than the actual painting and a lot of work. It's up to you whether or not watching a 30 second ad is worth watching a video that took hours and hours to create. I sure hope so and I hope you find a lot of helpful tips!
