Regarding the Campell boots: There is a season coming up that is a huge seller for me. Wedding season. Those boots could be worn with a wedding dress. I put Wedding Attire in my titles for certain boots, jewelry, etc. Wedding season begins as Easter ends. I will go to a Wedding convention or show to see what the vendors are promoting and what I should buy while thrifting.

Oh! What an excellent time to focus on! Maybe I should research a what sells "wedding edition " video!

Boots, veils, jewelry. All reception related items. Anything silver. Anything Victorian style like your lamp. Mix and match hand painted porcelain plates. Mix and match flatware gold, silver, or stainless. Serving utensils, toasting flutes, etc. Rose bowls, motives, etc. I typically put clear glass on FB Marketplace because the profit isnt there on Ebay but that is a whole different topic.

Love what sold videos! I’m selling lots of low dollar items lately with a few big sales sprinkled in here and there. I really think these are hard times for people.

I really appreciate you going into how LONG things took to sell and why it isn't always worth it to hold onto those not-so-great old buys. To be completely honest (supportive criticism, not judgement) I have been a bit annoyed in prior videos that you were talking about low level sales (less than $15 items, esp with free shipping) without going into why they are NOT always good investments. I've made those mistakes and was left holding onto LOTS of cheap goods and wasting inventory space and I think it is really important not to romanticize the small sales too much, and to stress the importance of sell through rate. I got a really good deal on probably 100s of light bulbs and lighting cables (bought because some prior light bulbs had sold REALLY WELL and made some good money) and thought I would make so much money flipping them cheap and fast, but didn't know how to check STR back then and am now stuck with hundreds of bulbs and cables that were a waste of time, money and space! Definitely 2 sides of that coin, and trying to prioritize STR this year instead of just an abstract approximation of future profit. Another example that you always have to be learning and open to changes to be successful in this business!

I frequently tell people that items in thrift stores speak to, waving arms they don't have and yelling "look at me, look at me". A few months ago I was in a local thrift and a book tried to get my attention and I ignored it for 2 visits. The 3rd time I opened it to the title page and it was signed by the author and published in 1947. I gladly paid the $.25 price. I listed it at $200. After a few months I dropped it to $175. A lady offered $125 so I took it. That's 500 times my cost of goods! Doesn't happen like that everyday but I've made some really good finds by listening to those voices.

Just did something similar for a boombox. Noticed this small yellow boom box with cool speakers and it turned out to be an Adventure Time Jake the Dog boombox. Paid $5 and sold it for $280 a week later. Two pickers walked past it before I got to it. That one was but not every sale is a super cool item.

Maybe I shouldn't, but if I happen upon something (say, at an estate sale) and I immediately think "that's cool," I usually don't regret it. Just sold an old "bankers lamp" with a green glass shade. I'm a little envious of your central location for shipping purposes - I'm in WA state.

The Peavey 400 is a vintage P.A. head, good for beginning garage bands, built in Meridian, MS in the 70's. Best known for amps, their vintage guitars, t-60, t-40 bass, are a little more collectible, may fetch a few hundred! Cool find! I sell a lot of music and cycling stuff on eBay, almost always hot sellers! Thanks for your post, always enjoy watching! Always good to know what others are selling.

100 % agree on what sold vs sourcing. sadly creators say over and over that the sourcing videos earn much more then what sold.

And that's correct. They draw more viewers for sure.

The stores aren't actually amazon branded. Ours is called "daa bins" there's crazy cozboys and other franchises. I've been to several under different names. I'd run a Google search for Amazon liquidation stores in your state.

Grrrrr... "Cassette Tapes" Grrrrrr... USPS Few weeks back announced UPS is going to be their main air freight carrier versus FedEx. Some years back when I and my ex lady parted (power politician) of course she boosted the Bedroom Set, I'd all Clayton Marcus custom ordered couches (2), chairs... All French Victorian Yellow/Blue Florals, Cherry end table, Crystal everywhere. Anyways... So I'm looking at Craigslist find a bedroom set at 3 AM in the morn. I see this listing listed an hour before, Stickley King Post Bed w/ matching nightstands $250. Huh? Wha? Where? As the Seagulls said in Nemo, "Mine! Mine! Mine!" So email. Morning comes she tells me be available following morning and her parents had bought it all for her many years back and just sat in storage. Sweet! Mine! Mine! Mine! So gather up my Brother In Law as he'd a Pickup and we arrive.... OH MY GOSH! There were like 15 other people there, mostly all used furniture op's in the hopes I didn't show... She told everyone interested she was going to sell the set by who contacted her in order. Can you imagine? Even though I told her 110% I'd be there! So we're putting it all in his pickup and don't the furniture resellers start gathering around the pickup pawing at things and my brother in law FLIPS OUT! LOL. I thought for sure be an incident! He was raised Catholic but the way they were going at this bedroom set were like vultures on a new carcass and his spirituality was quickly decreased shall we say? Anyway get it home, I notice some of the steel plates where the heady and footy board slot in are broke. Call Stickley as we've a local store here. Never in my life Rachel have I saw support like Stickley! Take photo's of all of it, send it off. Next day I get a call. Its a 1960's King Cherry Post Bed, they want more photos. Tell me to take off all four mount brackets (only two broken) they are having four made for me free! So, day later another call... I get told the Post Bed in the condition shown is worth $8000 and the nightstands $2200 each. BINGO! Mine! Mine! Mine! When I told them what I paid they were just shocked of course as was I. I knew Stickley was good stuff but I'd no idea! Still have it all, its now 15 years older once again. The only flaw came from my now deceased female Jack Russell Terrier. One day I locked myself out the house and needed climb in the bedroom window of my ranch. Well doesn't she think I'm like a burglar! She can see me, I'm trying shmooze myself through the window which bed is in front of and whap! She's barking and barking... Bit the headboard. No severe damage but... Well but. Then I flop on the bed and she's waggin' her tail. Unbelievable.
