As for eye shadow brands i only use Revolution or Kiko Milano. There stay the best on my eyes and are very high in pigments. I love the eyeshadow palet you are showing. Its really nice. It looks good on you.

Chris is hilarious. Armani Luminous Foundation is top 3 for me so difficult to dupe, it’s a classic. I’ve tried the Revolution eye icon palettes I prefer Ta but they look v v similar on the eye so get the dupe I say. The green icon palette is my fave and I’d recommend picking that up. Xx

Well, I am sold on the dupes. I have the Revolution Pro palette and it does not disappoint!!! The L’Oreal works great on dry or mature skin, even tho it didn’t come across well today for you. I live in the desert and it is perfect all year round. As for the balm, Laniege is overrated. My dermatologist isn’t a fan either, especially the masks. Says they don’t do anything really, and creates an “addictive” situation so I will stick with anything but. Color Wow is probably not for fine hair so it was a fail for me … Otherwise, please, please, PLEASE do more of these videos. LOVE THEM!!! and as always, I so look forward to all your videos. i love the regular ysl one (not waterproof) and it is spectacular. i use both it and then the waterproof lash paradise and they are super similar. the lack of panda eyes/ flakiness of these two make them both worth it for me

This was a great video! I’m so surprised that you haven’t tried the Armani foundation before! It’s probably my favourite foundation, mainly because it’s so reliable, it always looks good on and I also like it sheered out! I’ve never tried the Farmacy cleansing balm, but I’ve tried the Elf one. Full disclosure, I’m not a fan of cleansing balms, I just find it annoying dealing with a spatula and a lid - I much more prefer an oil. As far as cleansing my skin I thought that the Elf one was ok. I don’t use waterproof mascara so maybe that why I didn’t have any issues with it🤷🏽‍♀️. Chris is a makeup/hair seeing master! I can’t remember him ever being wrong 👏🏾👏🏾! 💕

Personally, these are my favorite videos to watch (other than eyeshadow declutters. What have I become that I yearn to watch people get rid of their makeup?!). I'm ok with dupes for the pure fact that not everyone can afford the high-end version of a product. And I would purchase Lash Paradise over any mascara. It is amazing. I have tried hundreds of mascaras and Lash Paradise is still my favorite. And the new Lash Paradise is great as well. The L'Oreal Hyaluronic Serum foundation is supposed to be a dupe for the Armani. Also my favorite foundation comes from L'Oreal. They just do it right. And I love the Elf cleansing balm for taking makeup off. I have found that the Cereve Foaming Facial cleanser does just as good of a job as any. And it doubles as my facial cleanser. I love your channel.

So many influencers do this when putting on their makeup and it drives me crazy. I’ve asked numerous times in the comments if they could stop putting their making on, in an angle, because we really can’t get a picture of the actual results….but nobody ever does it lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve actually stopped following a couple makeup influencers because of this. I don’t mean it in a mean way, I just can’t see the makeup results when they do it sideways.

Great video! Just a tip about the cleansing balms. After you've massaged it onto your face a bit, add a bit of water to emulsify it. It really helps with makeup removal 😊

Rachel, I love you and love watching your videos on both channels. Also Happy New Year from me in Alabama! As I’m writing this it is snowing which rarely happens. My whole city has basically shut down. With all that said, I like the high end blush color but imo I think you put it too high on your temple and cheekbone. Normally I don’t mind that and actually love it. Something about that shade or shimmer made it look like a sunburn on that area of your face. That could just be my eyes. I hope you try it again but maybe use less and not so much on the temple for that particular blush.

Pro Tip: When applying blush, especially if it’s a bit too intense, although I do this every application; after blending where you want the colour, apply a small amount of a skin tint or a sheer foundation, over top of your blush, to slightly under paint and make it more cohesive with your base. Alternatively, use a bit “too much” of a cream blush, before applying your foundation, on purpose, and use the under painting method. It allows the blush glow, to become a more “from within “, more natural and perfectly blended.

Ohh I tried the Giorgio Armani foundation in a sample (surprisingly it was my shade!) I got given with an online order. I didn't like it at all because it was very mid for me. One foundation I'd say feels very similar is the Wycon skin perfector. It's an amazing formula that has that slippy feel but isn't too runny. The only problem I have is that the cap gets stuck on the pump. But it's minor. This foundation looks so perfected like the name suggests. It has a slight scene not a lot of glow, wears beautifully and it just looks like your skin but better as it's not full coverage. I don't wear foundation anymore but if I did it'd be this one. And it only cost me 20 euros. Which I know it's a tad high but they always run some kind of sale where I live. Totally worth it in my opinion. Also the first time I tried it I asked my mom about my face. I was also wearing a now discontinued highliter and nothing more. And my mom said my skin looked really good that day. I later told her I was wearing foundation and she was quite shocked to hear it. She didn't notice at first which is a really good sign.

With oil based melting balms you are supposed to add water to your face to emulsify the oil and then it really pulls the makeup off. Maybe try the ELF again that way, because I only wear waterproof mascara and the ELF balm is what I use and it gets everything off

The Giorgio Armani foundation is the one I wore to my daughters wedding and I have fallen in love with it. And the lash paradise I will never understand the hype about it, for some reason on my daughter and I it’s just disappears within a couple hours it’s gone off of my eyelashes I’ve never had that with any other mascara I don’t understand but I have heard others that have had the same problem.

I prefer the dupes. I have the Revolution palette and I love it. It is over 50$ less expensive and for the very slight difference in the chunkiness of the shimmer shadows, the price difference isn't worth the high end product. I haven't tried the sleek, i will. I do use color WOW but it certainly doesn't last more than one wash and it takes a ton of product to get any results from it, the hair must be saturated, rendering it very expensive. The Farmacy didn't work well for me, high end I prefer the Elemis, but I love the Elf Makeup Melt, you did have a waterproof mascara on the low end side. The mascara looked great on both sides.

The Patrick Ta eye pallet was so gorgeous that I had to just check it out... to my dismay, most of the comments said that theirs had grown mold... right away closed the page, and not looking back! If you own this pallet, keep an eye on it!!!
