Fabulous pianism combined with expert piano restoration. A truly enjoyable musical experience. Thank you Jonathan and Patrick for enriching our lives with your illustrious skills. A shame I missed this concert, I was performing a concert as well at the same time. I am sure it was a privilege for everyone who had the pleasure of attending!

I’m no expert but that sounds just like Rach was playing it. That middle section was the most beautiful thing I have heard in a long time.

Oh, that's a wonderful, intense and passionate interpretation!! 👏👏👏 And that grand piano from 1887 sounds so fantastic, it has a wonderful full sound, it's great!! 🤩 Thank you very much, dear Jonathan! 🙏🎶

@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil thanks so much for your kind comments, Juliane! Yes the pianos from that era have a very different sound to the instruments we are used to playing! 😊

One of my favorites by Rachmaninoff! 🥰 Fascinating interpretation, though I tend to play it slower than you 😉

@@pianothingsmusic thanks Cornelia. The tempo is an interesting consideration and I guess a slower performance seems appropriate for an elegy. Having said that, Rachmaninoff’s recording is even faster than mine! 😊

🎉 great! in french we say your piano is singing.. "chante" . Did you play "moment musical in b" with this piano?
@jonathanbradley86984 күн бұрын
@@nicolasazais2036 merci Nicolas! I didn’t play any of the moments musicaux but I played a nice version of Debussy’s Après-midi d’un faune, so hopefully that will come out in the next few weeks. Glad you like the piano! 😊
