this is one of my favorite portions of rach 3 mov3, the section at 1:10 with the orchestra is stunning. I love the way you play it and your pace, and the lower notes are brought out perfectly at 1:22-1:36

Great - please do a tutorial on the exposition of the 3rd movement. I think Schumann called this key the key of love. I also like E flat minor.

I love E flat minor too… hence I started work on the op. 23 no. 9 prelude. tutorial will be coming up soon, there are some tricks to playing it for sure which I’ll be happy to share

I am not surprised that it isn’t your favorite, it’s not my overall fave either, but I play it because it’s really interesting how it makes my brain work. There are subtle little harmonic changes that I’ve never seen in any other piece.
