I hope you enjoy this video as it's been by far the most challenging upload yet. I've spent close to 100 hours in the past two weeks programming and recording the orchestra, instrument by instrument on my keyboard. I've invested an incredible amount of time, effort, and money (the orchestral VST libraries can get very pricey) so if you'd like me to record and upload more concertos on my channel you can help me out by donating or becoming a Patron. Thank you!

Amazing, man.. My favorite part of this movement is the ending. It always brings up an image in my head; A sunrise in the park, as if Rachmaninoff was letting out a sigh of relief. He could be in peace again Rachmaninoff wrote the Concerto for his therapist, since he was struggling with depression and his therapist helped him overcome the obstacles

If you’re referring to the chromatic line, I don’t know if that’s specific enough to be a throwback… he uses chromaticism throughout pretty much all of his music.

My favourite Concerto, I must have it by eleven (11) different artist (including the Maestro Himself, Rachmaninov) No two (2) musicians play it exactly the same, I love them ALL, I love to compare them. I first heard it at the age of thirteen (13) I am seventy-six (76) now, it has taken me through the tough times and rejoiced in the good times . . . it is the sound-track to my life!

The orchestration part is really impressive, I can’t imagine the amount of work ! The only thing to improve is the last A tempo. I find it better faster where we hear less the 5 notes on the left hand. Overall I’ve enjoyed the slower tempo because I’m in the process of learning the concerto too, so it’s useful to memorize the score. Thank you !

Is there any chance you could program the Grieg’s Concerto and sell it ? (At least the first mouvement) It would take my practices to another level to be able to feel with the orchestra. I searched hard to find a good orchestra accompaniment available on internet but haven't found one. I think there's a market in the educational field where you could find succes! I hope you'll consider it. Good luck for your continuation!
