This piece transcripted for theremin is something magical. I mean when you listen it at some moment you start to believe that it is a real human voice. You hold you breath with the music because the melody is pure beauty, triste, sad beauty, and then you start to realise that this 'voice' sings without taking breath, all this long-long phrases. Sublime!

I am moved to tears in the most beautiful of ways, and it is all because of you, Grégoire. You! That you can achieve such beauty offers hope for a world which of late has known of the sorrows of an unnecessary pain. There is prophecy here, and of a greater truth, that everything lived within the source of Life itself as a measure of Love is all we need to survive. I will never forget this moment. Oh, my god! I have not heard a theremin performance in years. This was beautiful, eerie and magical. And, better than any other performance of Vocalise I've ever heard. (Apologies to Renee Fleming and others.) Wow.

does anyone else ever feel like the theremin sounds like a human voice? especially when he holds a note longer than two seconds [I am not trained in music at all so idk if saying holding a note is the correct terminology here] but like, if you ignore the obvious electronic vibration whenever he lowers a note it does sound like a human and I love it

Beautiful. Very inspiring.. you are extremely talented! I'm getting a theremin of my own which will no doubt sound like a dying cat and drive my wife crazy. No doubt it will be very frustrating and there are sure to be times I'll feel like tossing the thing out the window. Guess you've gone through that too at some point hu?

Oh I’m sorry for your wife haha… Sure, I think all musicians have to endure what you are describing ! There’s always something to be frustrated about when you try to make music whatever the level. At the beginning you hate yourself for not being able to make a nice sound, then it’s about being on pitch, and then about musicality and expression… Keep going ! Don’t give up, playing the theremin is such a wonderful challenge ! And have fun :)

This brings to mind Richard Smallwood’s Gospel arrangement of this ethereal piece; haunting and also rousing. It’s titled “The Resurrection”. Extremely well suited to the theme of Smallwood’s song. PWG
