Mixed Media Art - New Year's Resolutions Tag Book

Used this idea recently as inspiration for an... ummm... "extended" Valentine Card, with 7 pockets, and an individually altered ATC sporting a different sentiment for each day of the week leading up to Valentine's Day. My Girl was under instructions NOT to peek ahead! She was totally enchanted by the idea. Thanks, Rach. Ohhh... PS... Yep. Blokes do crafting too! Heheheheh.

Such a cool idea! Then, when you're motivation is slipping and you're starting to lose focus, you already know where to look for the jolt of inspiration to keep going. Very beautiful.

As soon as I saw this video I went to the store and got supplies. I did it a little differently and I bought pre-made tags and painted them with shimmery water colors and used a stamp set to decorate them. Then I put a white sticker in the center of each and used letter stamps to write my resolutions on them. Then I just tied them together with a ribbon.

Hi Rachel! Fantastic resolution pouch! As soon as it was posted I got after making one with my daughter and neighbor......we titled them "Creativity Resolutions 2015". We used the envelop punch board to make the pockets! Mine was steampunk! Daughter's was pink and black shabby sheik and neighbor's was pastel cupcake

I made it on and off over a couple of days Reagan, so not really sure how long it would take if you worked on it consistently, but there was a lot of drying time involved for the sprayed background papers, and painting all the little flowers was time consuming too, so you probably wouldn't want to do all of those in one go, lol
