Actually purple kiss is a talented asf group, they are from rbw (the same company as mamamoo) and they write and produce all of their songs since pre debut!! Swan is the maknae (the one with the deepest voice) in my opinion has one of the best voices in all 4th generation, purple kiss’ rapper is Japanese and she writes all of her raps even with only one month of Korean lessons! They are having a comeback really soon

Yuki is the Japanese rapper writing her own bars in her TLM notebook. Misleading / not true to say they write and produce ALL their songs, check credits, but they do contribute a lot, especially Chaein one of the best all-rounders in 4th gen -- she co-composed 3 of my favorite songs of 2022 Cursor, Oh My Gosh and Joah. See the vlive where she writes a song on livestream from comments being written by the viewers. She's bias wrecking me harder every comeback but main dancer Dosie still has those intense looks that steal my soul. My #3 group.

Purple Kiss just celebrated their debut anniversary on March 15th. They are known as "balance idols" because they focus on singing and dancing, and are able to write, produce, and do their choreography. In their previous 2 albums "INTO VIOLET" and "HIDE & SEEK" they have written or produced 7 songs out of 13, and their rapper has written her parts in 12 of them. Soon they will make their Cb on March 29, and it will be a concept of witches, at the moment they have released 2 story films of the theme.

I really appreciated you doing a whole set of the videos. If you are looking for more there are two short vids that are intros to Ponzona and Zombie. Intro Crown and Freaky Perky. There is also a performance video of one the b-sides of their second mini album Cast Pearls Before Swine. And a dance practice that functions as a video for Skip skip on the first mini album. I think the two you especially liked are Chaein and Ireh. They have a dance and vocal cover of Break Up with Your Girlfriend that is spectacular. The group has many awesome covers. They expecially cover a lot of boy groups. Check out the covers of Exo's Overdose, Shinies Ring Ding Dong, and SVT's Adore U.

Fun fact: the boy in the zombie mv is from ONEWE a k-band from rbw because he compose part of the song. If you can check out ONEWE too, you don´t regret it. A some song´s of them are: RAIN TO BE, AURORA, VERONICA, PARTING, REGULUS and UNIVERSE. Have a nice week :D

they only are a year old, babies🥺 but they already have a lot of songs I'm not their stan yet cuz I need like at least 2 comebacks from the group to feel their DNA and to decide whether I vibe with it or not (I don't consider my my a full comeback) but I guess I will be their stan after memeM comeback (which is in the end of March!) [upd after ~2weeks: yes I'm their stan now for sure, memeM is incredible, it really is. with all this songs with crazy changes trend memeM still stood out for me, imo it was done in the cleanest way, not too much but it stil was like they got into my head] the boy in the end of zombie is their labelmate Cya from Onewe (amazing band, my ults, they are so worth checking them out), he helped in producing zombie he makes cameos in their story films for their coming comeback too) and story films look incredible

Great reaction. The mv usually has subtitles if you view them from purple kiss youtube channel. Even if RBW often is a little slow with subs they are usually there after a couple of days.

Loved your reaction to Purple Kiss & so glad you finally got to their songs! Also excited that you seemed to like them a lot. "Ponzona" is probs my fave of their singles/comebacks, though I do love "Zombie" & their new "Memem." They have lots of good Bsides & Performance Videos too ("Cast Pearls Before Swine" & then a darker / Halloween version of "Zombie"). You should really really check out another even more underrated group "PIXY." They aren't like exactly the same or anything, but they & Purple Kiss & Dreamcatcher all get compared to one another a lot. I think PIXY is a little harder of a general vide & have a lot of dancing that people often comment is more typical of boy groups. But I really think you'd like them given what songs you seem to gravitate more toward.

In the final scene of the My My video Swan messed up the arm position and the members around her laughed. The members didn't know the blooper made the final cut until they did a group watch of the MV and Swan got super embarrassed. I don't know if this has been discussed before, but the song "Can we talk again" is not performed by all the members, but only by the vocal line and rap line (Swan, Goeun, Chaein & Yuki) both blondes - Ireh and Jieun, as well as a dark-haired girl with two ponytails and on the table (Dosie) do not sing. The voice you like at 10:20 is not from the girl in the frame (Ireh), but from Goeun, the girl at 8:42, for example.

13:10 FYI: in kpop many of the times the MV is uploaded to two different channels. It's common for that only one of those uploads may have music. If you find an MV without lyrics, it's worth searching youtube for the other upload that does have lyrics. In this case, the upload of "Ponzona" on the 1thek channel does have lyrics and the one on the purple kiss channel does not. p.s. it's really uncool that their company is so dang terrible and incompetent about subtitles. Moomoos have had the same issues with the company. The irony is that the "behind the scenes" videos have instant english subtitles. The social media manager is just not very good at their job 🤷‍♂

Ayee! Purple Kiss! The first 2 music videos are actually their pre debut songs. MHSAB was choreographed and directed by the members themselves, and the two (My Heart Skip A Beat, Can We Talk Again) were used to showcase their 2 sides and what they're capable of as a group. Before debuting with Ponzona. (MHSAB didn't have one of the members, Swan, because she was sick). These girls are crazy talented, but that's expected from Mamamoo's first sister group out of RBW. To be honest, they're literally the girl version of their same company sunbaes, Oneus. Dance, vocals, performance. They've honestly got everything! You should see their dance practices and dance covers. They're just kinda of amazing af. EDIT: Also, fun fact, take in that their rapper, Yuki, is Japanese, only learned Korean about 3 years ago and she writes all of her own raps. Girl sounds fluent af. If you're taking suggestions, I want to point you over to a 2nd Gen girl group that's still active (the only one actually, and with good reason!). They're just kind of amazing, they're such a staple in the industry but I don't see a lot of new kpop fans recommending them to reactors. I promise, you won't be disappointed! :)

its crazy how those first two were their pre-debut songs. I remember when my heart skip a beat came out i didn't really care for it much because it sounded like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a pop or rock song but then when Can We Talk Again came out I was completely on board with the group and then of course that was only vindicated when Ponzona came out

At the beginning of the second track the opening vocals was by Swan, the one missing from the 1st, she has the most amazing vocals within five minutes of her audition with RBW they said yes. Channel called 1thek usually puts up the lyrics first. Search the Halloween version of Zombie. The guy at the end is CYA from Onewe another group within RBW. He helped write parts.

18:04 The quality is like that because yours is set to "Auto". If auto is selected youtube will lower the quality if it is having bandwith issues. If you click the gear and manually select "1080" (not "Auto 1080"). If "Auto" is selected it may drop in quality, but if no "auto" is selected the video will buffer at the full quality!

Btw, they have one more performance MV that you missed! It's called "Cast Pearls Before Swine" - it's a fantastic song in a completely different genre! Also, a lot of people's favorite song from their first album was "Skip Skip" - there is no MV, but there is a dance practice! Please check it out. Both those songs are great!

ive been waiting for this reaction! i hope you react to their comeback 29th of march! with the title song MemeM! theyve posted a lot of teasers including story trailers! their whole concept is Witches inspired! the two girls you commented about the voice tone you liked in my my was Chaein (the mood blonde one, a old Yg trainee, was in kpop star too, she was the one who had red hair in My heart skip a beat) and Ireh (she had brown braided hair and bangs in My My, she was also a Yg trainee with chaein so they were friends before joing their current company RBW, had blonde hair in MHSAB, CWTA and ponzona and red orange in zombie) you also commented on the girl with the short blonde bob in ponzona! her name is Dosie and she was the girl who had the model walk in MHSAB! she also participated in Mixnine. These three girls choregraphed the first song MHSAB! all of the girls play a huge part in their songs, they all write, choregraph and chaein has a couple of self composed and self written songs on their albums! Yuki, the japanese rapper is one of the most credited girl group members in the 4th gen, she writes pretty much all of her raps.
