Soyeon didn't let her members take vocal coaches because she thought that they'd lose the authenticity and essence of their voice. That's the reason why their voices sound distinct. They have three producer in the group which is composed of Soyeon, Minnie, and Yuqi. Also their line distribution is decided by which voice will fit the part well and Soyeon was behind all of it.

They do have a vocal coach, but they changed it to someone who lets them train their natural voices instead of molding them into a more standard sound. At least, that's what I've heard.

Yes, Soyeon was the one in "Is this bad b****** number?" As others have said, she also writes, composes, and produces most of the group's songs, and she's in charge of the creative direction of the group in general. You mentioned their unique, interesting vocals. One of the things Soyeon insisted on was that they not receive traditional kpop vocal training, because she didn't want the unique characteristics of their voices trained out of them.

Jeon Soyeon is (G)i-dle's leader. She has written or co-written most of their songs and been involved in production from the beginning. She's also a rap goddess, probably the best female idol-group rapper in Korea right now. She's also released music as a solo artist. Before (G)I-dle's debut, Soyeon released 'Jelly' and 'Idle song' in addition to participating in "Unpretty Rapstar, vol 3." and recording "Scary" along with another contestant, Nada. While (G)i-dle has been on hiatus since the release of "Hwaa," Soyeon released a solo mini-album, "Weather," with the lead single "Beam Beam" and also "Bad B**** Number" (featuring Youngji and Bibi) which you appear to be familiar with.

They are amazing... what they do is definitely art! Beautiful perfect Soyeon (I have heard) is considered a little homely in Korea... (cultural tastes differ from each other I guess) Their songs, concepts and choreography are epic - - I mean, as you feel, they seem large and important in sound, appearance, and movement. (I LLOOVVEE the moves at the end of Hwaa) Their music FEELS important. They do have some fun and light songs too, but this heavy style really seems to be their forte. I am sooo Sorry I am late I have been very busy, I am so glad that you finally checked out (G) I-DLE these Girls are just WOW I don't know how to explain it they are just everything and YES they hypnotize you they did that with me and now I am part of their cult the Netherlands! And also love the Music Videos that you picked out for your first reaction they all give you a little bit of everything personally I love Oh My God the most (I love ALL of them but Oh My God is just my favorite) not only does it have an amazing chorus, the Visuals and Vocals are amazing, it is legit an LGBT Anthem (especially the English version), and just overall STUNNING! Here I'll tell you a little bit about each Member from Oldest to Youngest but you definitely should check out a guide to them as well! Miyeon: Main Vocalist, and Visual (She is the POWER Vocal and very underrated she actually was supposed to debut with Blackpink, and not only that but she is the Fake Maknae she is a total CRACKHEAD but we love her for that she is just overall Amazing!) Minnie: Main Vocalist (She is the one with the Soft and Unique vocals, she usually is the one with the bangs and she also is very underrated Vocally and Visually. She also is Insane the crackhead energy is Amazing and she is also one of the calmer ones!) Soojin: Main Dancer, Vocalist, and Rapper (She is the one with the Soft and Sexy vocals, she also was the one that got kicked out of the Group for the dumbest reason if I could I would go have a talk with CUBE. She also is the calmest one she is a Savage but deep down she loves her Members especially Shuhua!) Soyeon: Leader, Main Rapper, Vocalist, and Center (She is the Rapper but also she can sing like crazy, you already know her pretty much and yes she does write songs. She also is a Crackhead, even though she looks intimidating she is actually a Sweetheart and an Amazing Leader! Yuqi: Lead Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper, and Face of the Group (She is the one with the Deep Husky vocals she can also Rap like crazy but they don't really let her do it as much. She also again is a Crackhead one of the main ones and she is absolutely Adorable you would have never guessed her voice!) Shuhua: Vocalist, Visual, and Maknae (She is the one with Soft yet Powerful vocals but she doesn't sing as much because she's not that comfortable with her Korean yet she is also very underrated. Again one of the main Crackheads and she is legit IN LOVE with Soojin and she is a 4D person just Wow!) Alors je tenais à te présenter un (G)I-DLE même si je sais que d'autres commentaires le feront, mais c'est un des premiers groupes de kpop que j'ai connu et il a une place particulière dans mon cœur: (G)I-DLE est (était😭) un groupe de 6 membres :Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Soojin, Yuqi et Shuhua. La plus âgée Miyeon (Cho Mi-yeon) est une sud coréenne de 25 ans. C'est une des main vocalist et une des visual. Elle est aussi actrice. Elle faisait partie de la line-up prévu pour Blackpink mais n'a jamais débuté avec elles. Elle est à 2min 52 et 14min 29. Minnie (Nicha Yontarak) est une Thaïlandaise de 24 ans. C'est ma bias❤️. C'est la main vocalist du groupe. Elle est proche de Lisa de Blackpink. Elle a une voix unique et c'est ça qui m'a directement attirée. Elle a les cheveux rouges dans Hwaa. C'est elle qui fait la high note à 9min19. Elle est aussi à 2min34. Soyeon, tu la connais déjà un peu, (Jeon Soyeon) est une sud coréenne de 23 ans. Avant de débuter dans (G) I-DLE, elle a auditionnée dans beaucoup d'agence (plus de 20 je crois) en tant que chanteuse. Elle s'est donc mise au rap et est aujourd'hui une des meilleures rappeuse de la Kpop. C'est la main rapper du groupe, la center et la leader. De plus, elle a composé et écrit la plupart des chansons du groupe. Elle est à 2min03 et 12min 17. Yuqi (Song Yu-qi) (se prononce Ugi ) est une chinoise de 22 ans. C'est une vocalist est la rappeuse secondaire. Elle est à 2min 42 et 12min56. Shuhua (Ye Shu-hua) est une Taïwanaise de 22 ans. C'est la Maknae du groupe et la Visual. Elle obtient souvent très peu de lines. Par exemple dans Hwaa elle chante pendant seulement 4s!!! Elle est à 3min02 et 19min40. Enfin, Soojin. Cette année, un scandale a éclaté comme quoi elle aurai harcelé une fille lorsqu'elle était jeune. Suite à cela, Soojin s'est fait virée du groupe. Aujourd'hui, beaucoup pense que ces rumeurs n'étaient pas réels. Il y a des gens comme moi qui ne peuvent se resigner à son départ et qui continuent d'espérer. C'est pour cela que je la présente. Soojin (Seo Soo-jin) est (était) la main dancer du groupe. Elle est sud coréenne et a 23 ans. Elle est à 2min19 et 13min09 Depuis le départ de Soojin il n'y a eu aucun come-back de (G) I-DLE à part Last dance (avril 2021) qui était prévu avec Soo-jin et qui a dû être modifier pour l'enlever de la chanson et du MV. Leur Fandom se nomme Neverland, ce qui signifie qu'elle ne changeront pas et resteront avec leur fan. Je te conseille d'écouter leur album I burn qui est vraiment bien ! Et part ça ce serait trop bien que tu fasses une vidéo réaction à d'autres bside de Twice comme Go hard, Get loud, Queen, Hot, Trick it et Bring it back.
