yes..in some situations (mostly long range) i agree with you..i like the uppercut precision, more bullets now and that iron sight keeps giving me the crispy headshots but i think it is expensive for what it is now..

@@gabsomniac9607 Obrez cycle time is 1.9 while uppermat is 1.3, not a huge difference but the Obrez crucially deals more than 125 so it can kill off of a down. Also Obrez bullet is faster and can take spitzer if you want even faster

Obrez doesn’t have buckshot/slug backup for folks who push. Could be argued you’d bring a Romero hand cannon anyways, but it’s faster to use the built-in shotgun.

Got a 7 kill 0 death game yesterday with it. 6 kills with the Haymaker (3 headshots) and 3 1-2 tap kills and 1 with the slate. I call it the Leon Kennedy Loadout (2 hands on a pistol/handcannon and a shotgun)

People play romero because its cheap. Talon is more expensive. Also talon uses a lot of staminas while most melee weapons that you have bought/ equipped anyway do plenty of damage and use less stamina.

@@GuthixGriffin I use it with scoped sparks, martini, or berthier variants. Large flexible ammo pool, and at the ranges the obrez starts to outperform the haymaker I'm using a scoped rifle anyway, so I prefer the faster cycle of the Haymaker. And having the slug is obviously huge in a compound.

Honestly, Crytek need to revisit their ballistics models, the fact that a shotguns can kill you when your aiming for say Torso where as say compare it to long ammo, up close to balance these engagements, these rounds should be blowing holes into people at close ranges, it shouldnt be a "flat damage" its something they need to look into so that all the weapons are viable and excel at their scenarios, right now if you arent running spam, shotguns you aint winning shit.

Higher bullet velocity, absence of switch sway, 3 more bullets in the cylinder, slugs in the inbarrel shotgun for close quarters one taps/more ammo for your other shotgun, lower Hunt Dollar cost, and a subjective preference for the sights. I think the Uppercut/Uppercut Precision/Haymaker are all outshone by the Obrez currently, but there are reasons. I enjoy a Haymaker/Bow loadout even if the Bowbrez loadout is generally stronger.
