I have about 30 hrs in the game which makes me a baby bayou wanderer, and of course Hunt is widely known to be a game with a steep learning curve. But I cannot see how these plays are possible, even for a player with 8k or more hours in the game! Insane stuff Rachta! Well done!

I played it with Dual Pax, so I have mine shorty, 36 ammo left, and a 12 Pax bullet for close quarters (I played with poison too, just for fun, impossible to hear a silencer while poisoned :p )

A lot of these shots in the beginning should have penned. I have had so many problems with Shorty FMJ not penning stuff that it should. Stuff like parts of the flimsy fenceline to the northeast of lockbay. I wouldnt be surprised if it was bugged in some way.

Why use silent sparks? It requires quartermaster with this loadout.

Because it hits extremely hard, poisons them, and allows you to see them threw walls without dark sight thanks to poison sense. Which you then follow up with the Shorty Silenced FMJ to shoot them through the walls because you can see them. Both silenced so you could ideally kill someone and his teammates never know where you are

Iirc, the more damage a weapon does, the longer the poison debuff will last. Sparks is the hardest hitting weapon with poison. I think I remember hearing the poison lasts 15 seconds, but it might be 10, I'm honestly not certain.

It also leaves you at 1 HP (or extremely low, depending on range), which makes people either panic or stand still behind cover to try and heal. If poison sense + fmj can land a hit, it SHOULD be an easier wall-bang finish, even at decent ranges.

Solo players with the trait Magpie. Magpie gives you 5 extra seconds plus, when you loot something that gives time back, it will give 2 seconds back instead of the regular 1 second. For example, looting a clue or a dead player. Magpie was also buffed for team play. It now gives you all 3 buffs. Stamina Shot, Antidote Shot and Regeneration Shot. It used to only give 1 of the 3 when grabbing a bounty. This part works for both solo and group play. The only thing I'm not certain of is if it gives 3 minutes or 5 minutes. I think it was 3 minutes, but I'm not sure if that was buffed to 5. Edit: I checked patch notes and it looks like the duration was unchanged. Should still be 3 minutes of each buff.

With past precedent in mind, you could almost argue he had a mouse slip and didn’t even mean to do that because it looked really bizarre. Up to now all of his snaps always look natural. It would be an amazing feat to never have a suspicious looking snap for thousands of hours played on twitch and hide it so well until that moment. Keep in mind he also kept it in the video which is edited.

If you listen closely you can hear the person pop a shot, assuming a vitality or Regeneration Shot. Wall banging at this range is basically all sound. Add in that Rachtaz is very good at aiming and flick shots and you get this. Once the enemy is moving, they become a lot more difficult to hit. Which is why he was unable to kill them immediately after the first hit.

I counted at least 4 times you have flick shot some one around a corner before you even saw them. I try to keep giving this game a chance, and it just keeps reminding me why I've never heard of it up until last year. It lacks graphics, variety, and overall performance. I get to see my bolts fly thru people, head shots=arm shots, and shot at barrels not blowing up. Idk man, I hope a new developer gets the idea to make a better version of this. 5 year anniversary and this is what we have. The game is only good, but when it actually works.

It has a lot of frustrating rng elements. It’s a very tilting experience which is why it requires thousands of hours of grinding to master. The issue is that you can only replicate practicing with a gun so many times repeatedly. So if you want to get your aim down with good weapons, it’ll cost you dearly when you die. Alongside that every variable on every map is different given spawn locations and what other people are running. It doesn’t have enough of the same repeated patterns for your brain to quickly adapt, and therefore takes way longer to get good at. Moreover, hitting people can be frustrating with how ttk behaves. Sometimes you’ll down people instantly, and other times you hit them perfect 5 times and they’re still running around as if nothing happened. That only adds to the frustration because it’s already a fairly hard game to hit people in. Now you add that to all kinds of cheesy play where guys camp indoor with shotties and one tap you because you’re the only one willing to move around the boss lair and it’s another tilting experience. the game has fun moments where you hit crazy shots, but it’s not a game you should take seriously which is why you see so many streamers use fun variety load outs because I think it helps them cope with how unrewarding/frustrating the gameplay loop can be at times. My biggest personal gripe is what I mentioned previously which is just hitting people repeatedly and having nothing to show for it but random arm and hand hit boxes when I actually hit their body, or things such as trading when I clearly hit the guy first because of their coding.

They'll do maintenance without word, and instead of addressing the issues people are typing them about. They'll just sugar coat with dumb @ss cosmetics and voice actors no one gives a rats @ss about unless you're a witcher fan. F:)ck your black market, your new tutorial, your new music, and your quest lines. Fix the f:)cking game over everything.

I'm curious if you can elaborate on the variety statement? Performance can definitely be better and maybe the new engine will help when we get it. As for hit registration issues. Yes they do happen. But I think many people use that as a coping method for missing. Record your play and watch it back in slomo. You're probably just barely missing. It might be bullet velocity and target moving etc...
