Fun fact! The silenced Bornheim has a lower headshot range than the *Derringer* by about 15m. It's a handy alternative to the silenced Nagant, but boy does it demand to be used at close range...

You should try it! I especially recommend it with friends, you can play it solo but it's pretty hard because outside of a niche unpopular game mode you can only really play duos and trios, so solos are going against teams. Very fun game would recommend, can get pretty stressful though haha

Fine, I’ll say it.. this is the best Tier List I’ve seen by far. The explaining of universal usage for each weapon was the icing on the cake. For the most part I agree with every rating since we have similar playstyles. Only one I have to disagree with is the LeMat, but that’s because I’m a LeMat Fanboy 😂 looking forward to the Shotgun Tier List!

The Pax is my favorite pistol easily, I love it. The stats are great and has the best special ammo selection out of any weapon in the game, but most importantly... I love the sound it makes

Personally I'd put officer and conversion a tier higher. Officer is an absolute beast in close abd medium ranges, and conversion with fmj is basically pax but with more ammo and better fanning

Born match paired with a vandal (for the ammo) means you can even out shoot rifles at 20-40m just with withering rapid fire. It pops heads at a distance, but it can also spray a room, both completely without character skills.

Bornheim match with high velocity has crazy head shot range and velocity (600+ IIRC) makes it an excellent 2 shot plinker for headshots at range

New Army D tier ? hornet literally said it was one of the best sidearm in the game with great ammo. Only downside is velocity but it is a really good pistol.

I’ve actually started using the bornheim recently and have been loving it for those close quarters encounters. I don’t like fanning because of the inconsistency so I’ll choose a hipfire bornheim over any other pistol with fanning.

Hi, first time viewer here. I respectfully disagree with a fair amount of your list, but appreciate your willingness to put the time and effort into making it. One thing I would point out is that there appeared to be little consideration of dual wielding in assessing the pistols; while from an objective standpoint, or as much as such a thing can be reached, dual wielding isn't the most optimal or powerful opition/play pattern, I think it should still be considered.

Solid list! The only change I would make is to ADD the Hand Crossbow. Imo, B Tier, right behind Sparks pistol. Single shot, and can one shot upper torso at close range regardless of bars. But it's main advantage is utility! Combine the HC with a workhorse rifle like the Winfield or a Silenced Vetterli, and you become a Swiss-Army Hunter!

Nope! For damage will always start damaging a hunters maximum possible health (including empty bars). If the bornheim had bleed ammo that would 2 shot because bleed damages a hunters actual remaining health

I like using chain pistol for fmj ammo reserve for my primaries since with a mag of 17 never have to reload if don't use fanning

It´s strange because i watched the ENTIRE video and loved the explanations, the combined traits, pros and cons, really well done. Happy to see someone finally putting Uppermat where it belongs. Being honest, i usually dont run none of the S tier pistols just because they cost even more than a Meta primary weapon like the Lebel. One of the best games i ever had was with a Lebel and a Dolch Precision... Love to see a rank of rifles and shotguns also... Can you do that please?

LeMats I feel would be genuinely S tier if it weren't for the wonky fire rate, and the weird cocking animation. Follow up shots are difficult because the cocking animation throws off your sights!

I think the dolch, while certainly powerful, is too cost-prohibitive. You definitely see it around the bayou but most people definitely run anything else :P I personally also weigh the lemats and melee variants (esp brawl variants) more heavily because they can clear up a tool slot (lemat clears fuses/flare pistol, melees clear melee), letting you bring more tools, especially non-standard tools (medkit is always 1 slot, chokes almost always another slot (choke xbow nonwithstanding), flares and melee are the 2 most likely to be replaceable)

The chain pistol is a godly wall bang pistol. It's not better than say the Scofield swift, but it's a very good option for suppressive fire while being cheaper. Keep in mind I always play with a full team on discord so our communication is better than solo queue. I cannot stress enough, how useful the chain pistol with fmj is at locking down people in a corner while your teammates rush down their other squad mates. It's atrociously bad at consistent hits, but I think that's what makes it such a useful wall bang weapon, that random factor when firing usually works in my favor. By far my most wall bang kills in the game, and I am a Scofield main so it's kinda odd that I get so many kills with it.

This, it has a great niche use of being able to pour lead on the other side of the wall and still get another 17 shots in the bank. And even ignoring that, if you ADS with it, it's just a Conversion with less recoil and without the need to reload after 6 shots. Worse at fanning consistently, worse at hipfire but it has its own niche unlike some of the other guns who made it higher in the list.

Something to note: The non-Swift Scottfields reload faster than a Pax ONLY when completely empty. Otherwise the Scottfield has a slower animation at the start of the reload, making it slow to top-off and it's also about 2 seconds slower to reload from 1 shot left to full compared to the Pax. (See the video titled "Scottfield VS Pax 5 reloads, which is faster?") As usual the stat screen is not clear enough on what the numbers mean to the point of painting a counterintuitive image.

Oh and you forgot to mention that the Bornheim Silencer has the most quiet shots of any gun in the game. Even more so than the other silenced weapons, which are audible from a short distance!

Pax is significantly stronger than the base scottfield because of it higher velocity and damage. No reason to ever run a base scottfield either swift for fanning spam or spit fire for a nice spam pistol. But pax and true shot are just better for longer ranges.

Personally i think the lemat's higher muzzle velocity makes it a great pick, you can load it with fmj and still have a higher muzzle velocity than most compact ammo handguns, (also before anyone calls me a sweat for running fmj, i am well aware how disgusting it is but honestly running compact ammo weapons without fmj feels like shooting people with nerf darts)

🤔I might start using the Nagant to get that silenced version. I always tend to carry firebombs or something that can start a fire to deal with the Spider among other things. Nothing more satisfying than watching the Spider kill herself by constantly luring her back to where I threw said firebomb after the initial damage is done.

17:37 Nagant is my favourite revolver not for its stats, or even its underdog reputation, but for its purpose - learning. You will hate using it and this little shit will hate you back until - you learn, how to headshot, when to reload, how to aim intuitively etc. And voila - you now unlocked the easy mode for all other pistols or can save money on a secondary.. also it pairs greatly with martini :P

Very based vid but Im not in line with a few takes: The thing that makes the new army so good is that it kills with an arm shot plus a chest shot in cqb, the officer doesnt do that and im not a huge fan of the spitfire cuz of its weird recoil and hammer animation. The only down side of the new army is the muzzle velocity and thats just practice like after a few hours you can easily get nice shots in at 50m+, easy B or even A tier for me. Secondly the uppercut while being great only provides a slim edge over the truehsot and scotty with fmj. Sure it can kill with in a single shot to the torso if you are missing bars but thats only up to 20m i think so its nearly irrelevant. Sure the damage drop off is a lil better but not thaaaat much better. Some mit even argue the spitfire with fmj is better on range because of its fast double tap potential. What im saying is that the uppercut is in no regard worth the 414$ price, yeah its cool and satisfying but if you are looking for the best bang for your buck the uppercut is waaay off

new army swift being below reg new army is a crime. it takes some getting used to using a swift, but its an objective upgrade as far as im concered. ALSO Bornheim extended only has one use: dual wield jumping around a corner shouting "FORTNITE" as you spray into someone

people sleep on pistol speedloaders, in most situations they're just straight upgrades from base if you get rid of the urge to always top off. for the scottfield, it is good for fanning sure, but if you take a scottfield without fanning you probably intend to it use as your longer range option. in that case most people will probably only take two or three shots with a slow pistol like that anyway before going back into cover. do that two times without reloading and you'll lose two bullets at max, which you could also use to peek again before reloading. In return, the speedloader will get you back into the fight way sooner and with less time in between peeks. And any ammobox you stumble upon gives a full magazine anyways. similarly for the new army, three shots will be enough to kill a hunter and have one spare for missing, and reloading at two isn't that punishing considering the resupply for compact.

Nice list, but i highly disagree on the chain pistol. Definetely not a noob trap (imo) and infact i can see It pretty often in 5/6 stars mmr range (where i play). In a game where the majority of the weapons shoot slow and with few bullets, a 17 rounds Pocket machine gun with basically no recoil has an advantage. One of the best weapons i can think of in a clutch too. To me it's at least an A tier and a sidegrade of the regular conversion.

I like the list and respect your opinions, but I do disagree with a fair few placements. Just to start off before I go into a few of the placements I don't agree with, something I don't believe was considered greatly in this list, just my opinion of course, is ammo resupply. Compact ammo has the best ammo economy out of all ammo types, being able to resupply 8 bullets from big ammo boxes, 5 from small ammo sleeves/cartons, and a whopping 20 from consumable boxes and scrapbeak drops. Just something that should definitely be considered when making this kind of tierlist. The Conversion Pistol is definitely A tier, no ifs, and, or buts about it. It's the most reliable pick out of all the compact pistols, besides the Nagant Officer. Great two potential, Decent rate of fire, Good sights, Cheap, and it has access to FMJ. It's fanning is superb and possibly the most stable fanning out of all pistols in the game, personally. It's a great complement to any long ammo weapon and even a close range build with FMJ. Just a solid pick. Not to be rude in any measure or offensive, but I don't understand how Nagant Officer is in B Tier, low B tier as well. The low damage can be an issue, but you aren't going to be going for those two-tap body shots with this weapon in the first place; however, it's still able to do so with relative ease. It's a Headshot machine. Fast Muzzle Velocity, Good sights, Good ammo pool, and great fire rate. Furthermore, the Nagant Officer has access to two of some of the best custom ammo types in the game: High Velocity and Dum-Dum. With high velocity, the Nagant Officer is an absolute headclicker at range, but if you pair it with its bigger brother the Officer Carbine, you are going to be an absolute menace in compound fights and at range with great headshot ability and great two-tap ability in CQB. High-Mid A pick for sure, along with the brawler variant. I would 100% swap the Schofield (I know it's the Scottfield but I can't not call it's real name since I'm so used to calling it that) Swift with the normal Schofield. It's a straight upgrade in my honest opinion. Faster reload and it's perfect for fanning since you are going to dump your ammo anyway. However, I would argue it's better to move the base Schofield into B anyway since it doesn't have the best utility anyway. Slow fire rate, slow base velocity, it's medium ammo so ammo resupply isn't the best, and it's outshined by its snub-nosed little brother, the Spitfire. It's overall a decent list. The S picks are spot on in my opinion, but the rest of the list has issues with a lot of the placements, but the majority are okay. TLDR: A lot of the compact pistols should be moved up into A while some of the A picks need to be moved into B. Ammo resupply should definitely be a big consideration.

I will not stand for this New Army slander. Yeah the bullet velocity is low, but for that to bring the gun all the way down to C?! You aren’t going to be using it beyond 20-30 meters anyway, you take it for its overpowering close range strength.

A few criticisms and mentions: -> Scoped Dolch is the only non-precision and small-slot scoped pistol/weapon in the entire game. (Looks like Han Solo’s blaster too). -> The Double-Action pistols cannot fan but fire faster. Due to the double-action mechanism, you have to pull the trigger harder to bring back the hammer - this why the recoil or re-center after each shot is wonky. Officer and New Army are the only two double action pistols. -> Speed Reloaders are great after emptying completely for fast full reloads. For this reason, fanning or dual-wielding is the way to go. New Army and Scottfield can fan or dual wield to great affect. Built-in clip reloaders like Dolch and Bornheim do not benefit to dual wielding nearly as much. -> All precision single-action variants have faster firing intervals, less kick, less sway, and tighter spread. This includes the Dolch as well. The exception is Bornheim that has these same stats except they trade faster firing intervals for slightly more damage and range (due to longer-than-normal barrel). -> Chain pistol has 17 bullets. While it is true than with fanning, it performs inefficiently from bullet to bullet like its single-action counterparts, it has the potential to slay 5 hunters in quick succession if you do not miss. This is highly unlikely however, not having to spend time to reload, allows you to push the offense if you can get your opponent on the defense by reloading or healing. Very effective with bleed. Technically a decent 2-tap even in arms and legs is enough to have them die b/c they have no time to hide and heal. It’s no shotgun but it’s cheap and effective. -> Sparks pistol (and sparks in general) is a one-tap panic starter. If you land the hit, it doesn’t matter that it’s 4-sec reload. That Hunter is hiding for heals. In 3’s, you do have to worry about the other two on the push. But that is why this gun is typically paired with either faster firing rifles or is utilized for its ammo pool for ammo crate reloads (higher pool means higher ammo replenishment count. At a pool of 14, it rivals the martini Ironsides). Dual wielding can make it possible to kill a hunter outright. Usually only seen as a hail mary when the Avtomat runs dry between reloads in battle. -> Silenced pistols Bornheim and Nagant are your utility drivers but they have a lot of use in PvP due to no muzzle flash during combat. Whether fast-firing, fanned or dual wield. The recoil often feels slightly more manageable for many hunters as well, despite no visible change on paper. This may just be due to the lack of muzzle flash in the way before the next shot. That’s it for now. I do think New Army needs to be higher on the list as it fast-fire two-taps. Other than that I feel dual wielding was left out of discussion for most of this. Cheers!
