I took the winnie C marksman and the crossbow with shot bolt into one match and was very pleased with how it played - a budget loadout that lets you harass and pick off people at a distance and then rack up instant kills if they try to push you :)

When I use Gunrunner I use a Mako and a Martini Riposte. 28 reserves, explosive ammo if you want to troll, and a backpack 1-shot gun with a better spear on it for when you whiff your levering 😂 Fun and super effective

I run gunrunner with a lemat carbine and hand crossbow with revive bolts and chokes. If I kill someone, I take their large slot and leave them with the crossbow

That's why vulture is so insane right now. On every body you have twice the chance to get everything form 50,100,250,500 or even 1000 hunt dollars. Where as 50 is by far the most common and all the others have a non linear decreasing chance to drop. Theoretically, if you are lucky you could loot 2000 hunt dollars from one body.

I've only done gunrunner once so far because Surefoot is just so goated, but when I did run it, the 1965 Carbine with FMJ covered close and medium range and the Maynard with high velocity/dum-dum covered medium to long range. Felt really nice overall, but not terribly overpowered. Maybe early hunt having the ability to run a full sized Mosin or Nitro (pre-aperture sight) and C&K at the same time was game breaking, but nowadays it doesn't seem like a wild advantage to be able to have two three slot weapons at your disposal. I personally wouldn't necessarily mind Gunrunner coming back as a scarce trait to combine with quartermaster to be able to open up double three slot loadouts again. I don't like the 'run faster' part of it though; Gunrunner (were it to come back) should just work as a scarce trait version of QM to combine together every now and then and run two big weapons.

I play rifle (mostly marathon) + Spear. It shows itself excelent + its very cheap. I can shoot with anyone except super far range and I can easily deal with pve and bosses. And i can play in melee with spear or shotgun on it. Its not perfect, cause usually youve not a lot of chances. But still its great and close all my niches i need.

SUREFOOT IS STILL BROKEN. When you pledge to the wilderness pack and get surefoot it is bugged and has been the whole two weeks the event has been going. If you pledge and get that pact then crouch. Just hold W while ADS and your sights will not be aligned. Probably due to the increased movement speed when crouched, the kicker is that it persists if you decide to stand up. Funny enough when you crouch again the bug seemingly toggles itself off but now you don’t get the increased crouch movement speed, once again upon crouching another time you will now be unable to move forward and aid with any considerable accuracy. Pressing A or D while moving forward significantly reduces the effect and shots are much easier to hit but when you are holding W only it is basically impossible to hit anything beyond 5M away. If you really want to see how terrible this glitch is go to the shooting range with the nitro. It’s hilarious to see 😅 also it seems the longer the gun is the more out of line the shot is placed. This glitch killed me so many time before I realized what was happening. I Shift+W all the time and I think I have pretty snappy aim but I was not hitting any shots, I also only ran Surefoot
