The curves at the begining allowed me to connect a thing in my brain to a thing my foot already kind of knew. Now I know what "correct" looks like on a graph. Time to practice again.

bruh, you just said "if you brake too late youre gonna go wide and if you brake too early youre gonna go to tight and not fast enough"

That’s correct. If you brake too early you’re surely gonna go tight, but it means you can go tight the same but faster by braking later. Basically means you have more “room” for entering corner speed
