I find the internal racing line to be the fastest. While approaching a corner I stick to the inside of the track. This way I touch the apex earlier so I can start accelerating earlier. But that reduces entrance speed and radius.

If it's faster, it's faster I can't dispute that. However, by entering on the inside you definitely create a tighter radius meaning you need to slow down more at the center of the corner in order to make the turn. But again, the stop watch can't lie -RR
