@@billytwo-hats9632 I do Billy, sometimes sometimes in my past, some think I’m too brutally honest and they don’t like it, but I like to just say it the way it is and just be straight and people are smart and know or feel when people are upright with them. I’ve always been that way, and thank you for appreciating the vlogs, they are so much fun to make, and I also love sharing a bit of the past, or highlighting others and their accomplishments. It makes me feel good to honor others, but sometimes I like sharing my experiences too! Did you subscribe? I have so many really great people supporting this channel, and you’re one of them bro! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Cool story, Bryan. What year did you start racing? I can't imagine racing against Bast, Woods, Penhall, etc... especially at 16 or 17 years old. All you can do is go Full Bore!!

I bought my speedway bike in “75” from Danny Becker & raced a couple D-3 races at the end of the “75” season immediately after I purchased. And the following season I went to D-1 fast after practicing hard all off season, and won like (6) D-1 Handicap Mains that year from lower yardage, but I was so scared and the only thing I could do was quit racing or give it more throttle, so I choose to run it hard, because I was so intimidated racing all these legends.

@@BryanBee In 1975, I was already out of high school and working swing shift - the reason I missed seeing you race. I was going to Irwindale every week from 1972-74. Have you seen this website? speedwayprograms.com. I was looking at old programs and found Ed Meister.. he was the promoter at Irwindale. Billy Meister and I went to Lowell high school in Whittier. I saw your name in a few programs listed on that website, but many are missing. If you have old programs during the years you raced, you should contact that website owner and upload them.
