Racing in the Woods together with 60 People!🌳 Rc Rally Journey

After a month I'm back in Czech Republic 🇨🇿for another amazing Rc Rally.
Almost 60 partecipants that raced for the victory in 8 challenging stages!
It has been a very fun Rally, on average I was able to classify on 30th place each stage with my Tamiya XV-01 Chassis.
On this kind of rough terrain the Xray modified models were dominating the competition.
Thanks to Michał and Patrick you'll be able to see how this chassis is able to perform off-road.
It has been a nice run! It was also nice to see some historical bodies other then my Lancia Delta S4, I spotted an Audi Quattro and some Delta integrale.

It would be super interesting to see this as an FPV event! with co-drivers like 1:1 Rally Racing! But if I'm honest, that also speaks to the laziness in me 🤣This seems to be nearly as much athletics as it is driving!

Many drivers have experienced the problem you had with the pinion set screw. One thing that helps is a tiny drop of blue thread lock which will hold it in place. Just don't put too much on. I really enjoyed watching the racing on this tough course. It was long and had different racing surfaces. The drier sections appeared to be more difficult. It was basically an off road track. When they design these tracks the course seems to be similar throughout. It is mostly twists, turns and hairpins. I wonder why there are not more straightaways? I enjoyed seeing your experience. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the suggestion, luckily this problem happened outside the championship in which I regularly take part. About the straights, let's say are present but from what I've understood Rc Rally it's more about cornering and being reactive

What pin tyres do you use? (I'm sorry, I cannot hear correctly what is said) Edit: I see Schumacher mini pins (24/25) are about perfect but out of stock everywhere. also are there different classes of 2wd and 4wd here?

I always though that rc rally racing would be awesome if done right and it seems like all id see is rally on an off road traxk which is kind of boring and not really rally. Seems like yall have it figured out though by just chasing the car down lol. Looks super goofy but also alot of fun to be had.

Not yet, but I think because it's going to be quite shaky, it can be difficult to drive

​@@dariorcgarage cloudrc are doing fpv over cellular network, with hydraulic racing seat - the bumps become a feature but so long as you have good suspension, it should be okay without the VR seat :D cloudrc do a lot of crawlers, but the latest low latency demo shows a racing buggy
