I'm using the exact same engine in my project where I'm building a motorcycle out of a lawn mower. I am also using a peerless 700 but I installed steel gears since I'll be running it on asphalt I figured it would be stronger that way, I'm also going to use rubber washers on the peerless 700 mount to try to reduce some of the shock going to the transmission.

I'm trying to design an enclosed lubricated steering mechanism. Closed to elements and white lithium grease. Any pics or suggestions?
