That section of the single track without music riding behind Sule was heartwarming. What a tribute.

Beautiful tribute to Sule. Thanks for being such a positive light out there. Really enjoy your insight and race break downs. Well done. Looking forward to the next Impossible route.

Thanks for helping Ryan! He was a little man when his dad and a bunch of our buddies (all from MN) did Leadville in 2015. We are proud of all of his hard work and riding with you (and the help you offered) was definitely a highlight of his 2022 Leadville!

Bravo...not many would sacrifice a few positions to help another rider! Your deed was over the top, not only for the lad, but to show the rest of us...there's more to racing than just the racing! Well done sir!!!

Leadville was the hardest thing I ever did on a bike. 8 hours non-acclimated is still great. I didn't acclimate correctly either and it really makes your day so bad. You're a total legend! I remember seeing you race in Waco, TX in the AMBC series way back in the day against guys like Roland Green.

What a great video. I really love the shot selection, music, cutting and JB's taste and wisdom is refreshing. The salute to Sule descent was just simply the bomb. So I'm in the lottery for the first time this year and hoping I get a spot. Was tempted from what I'd heard some say to bring my gravel bike since my Mtb is sooo old (1997) and a lot of it was said to be old-school mtb fire roads. But after seeing this I think maybe I'll reconsider (and make a couple weeks out of staying at altitude lol.) A great excuse to finally drop the dime on a new steed. Got the Canyon Lux CFR Team in my dreams!

Such a classy move from a very well respected veteran of the sport. You also made me feel better about myself by having to hike-a-bike that steep section of Powerline. That was the worst part of my day last year.

Awesome ride. A great thing you did to help that younger rider with his flat. You are a great example for cyclists. Pedal on and pedal safe. Btw, I have a friend of mine that I ride gravel with that use to race against you. He just finished his eighth TNGA

5:25 ! The news a few days after the race is so sad! I was kinda shocked to see 6 hours wilth virtually no trading pulls for most of the second half....I was racing the Year you guys pushed it to Alban being Sub 6 and I guess its crazy to think someone can hit 6 hours mostly solo

Yeah I was really moved meeting Sule he was a true leader and racing with him and capturing him in flight in this clip was special. Keegan is a beast, former rookie teamate of mine, his performance doubling SBT and Leadville was absolutely World class. That guys lives for high altitude climbing races!

Don't get hung up on not having your acl. I haven't had mine since I was 16 and I'm 46 now. It doesn't effect your riding at but but if you are a runner at all, it will effect that. Good job on Leadville and thanks for being an inspiration to so many people.

Road riding yes but in mountain bike races we carry the bike, crash now and then and post a foot if you slide out in a corner. Stoked I can do what I can! Certainly more than I thought!
