Aplologies for this comment, since I am still spending time with you guys in the Maldives atm, but I just wanted to take a little time to share my thoughts about the Jon Olsson Experience. I am under no illusion that this will ever be read but hey ho. I got hooked on Casey's vlog a while back, and now am enjoying Jon's output. As a former freelance cameraman and now film lecturer, one of the elements I most enjoy in this blog is to see the growing level of production values and the care that goes into the production and production of these vlogs. For me, one of the principal differences compared to Casey's output is the relatively small amount of pre-production in Jon's vlogs. This is in no way a criticism, as what makes this channel so lovable is exactly that. The chaos and struggle that comes with rapid production is obvious but yet most episodes end up being what is called 'lagom' in swedish. Balanced and comfortable. Another key benefit to your approach is the lack of stage persona. What a lot of people may initially see as a tale of the adventures of shallow, over-privileged 'Scando's on tour' is offset by a real honesty and a disarming charm from all key characters. Jon's good looks and sculpted physique are tempered by his shortcomings, Janni's enviable figure and strong fashion sense are offset by her positivity and lack of diva behaviour, and finally Marcus's geekiness is balanced by an obvious massive Norwegian heart. So thank you for allowing us to dream through you. Ok, I'm off back to the Maldives.

Jon, I would not go too big on the materialistic stuff for Marcus, as you said yesterday he doesn't care for the money. You should try something personal, bring something or someone he misses from home. Make something, a personalized douchebag? Or fix something for him you know he hates doing himself. An experience instead of a thing would fit too since his payment is largely experiencing things with you and he seems to like it! Make it more about the gesture and less about the actual present.

Agree. Are you using auto ISO? Fells like it is pushing up the ISO and the noise looks terrible with KZbin compression. Try locking down the ISO. Also, light flickering all over. Are the framerate settings matching Monaco electrical Hz?
