Danny did your pigeon coop have a skylight I see some flyers have that . In the heat of the summer they close the top . What type of skylight did you have .

Danny, Does dark system work for both YB and OB in term of body molt ? When we want to stop using dark system, do we need to increase daylight gradually or we can just let them out in natural system instantly ?

I can't answer that the only time I did it lost the birds. Never did it again

I would leave them on if you flying the light system.

No I plan to fly the darkness system,but most young are near 16days old..do I turn them off after they've hatched..

Did just check for a solar or geo magnetic storm on that day.. It could also be a reason.. As it's tough to understand why birds flying 2 hours can't navigate from 25 miles..

Could have been. but most times with high K factor they return later in the day or the next day. the sun spots do mess them up. but I was warned if you dont let them see sunrise it would happen, and that s what happened.

@@Dannyracingpigeons I have seen some birds which have returned home from 50 miles, unable to make it back from anorher 20 mile jump when the. K index touched 5. Never to return.. poor birds
