Racing pigeons loft flooded!!

My racing pigeons loft flooded and what a mess!! It's not always "Holy cow" birds and sunshine at RFRP, but we got it sorted pretty quick!! Also, a look at some of our 2023 youngsters in the nest! Which OLRs should they go to?

Squeakers looking good. Glad you got the wet mess cleaned up. Things dried out pretty fast which is a good thing. Need to send a couple of youngsters to the Hoosier Classic. 🙂

OMG, that "droppings soup" you cleaned looks familiar, oh the memories. 😆 Actually higher humidity is good for hatching eggs, I learnt that when it is very dry, they struggle to break out of the eggs.

Oh man. Hate to see that. Good to see that you were able to get it fixed. I've hated that I neglected to put a Skylight or clear plastic corrugated section in my lofts as an adult. I forgot that when I was a kid I always did that because the sunlight does the birds great. Fly Boy's babies looking pretty.

I have loved having the skylight in spite of the occasional repair to the seal :). the extra light is really nice to have. Thanks my friend!!

Ah man..skylights are on my to do list... It's good to see ole fly boy doing well.. Today is the 1st day in 2 months that Inhad birds out flying. Just sat on the porch watching. Very nice. Are the birds enjoy the new aviary?

Oh that’s just part of being a pigeon fancier😂 We always got a project we need fixing . God bless brother hope your breeding season keeps going as good as it has. Just a friendly reminder, if you have a couple youngsters, you would like try it out down here in Florida. Don’t hesitate to send them my way.😅 I rank 3rd in my club out of 14 flyers. We usually have some pretty good competition. Just saying 😂
