Racing the Concrete Jungle: Urban Downhill Mountain Biking Madness!

Finals Day at Red Bull Cerro Abajo in Guanajuato, Mexico! What a crazy place and amazing experience. I'll remember this day forever! Urban downhill is wild, so so so different to what I'm used to but the sport is growing to become huge and the fastest riders are INSANE. I really hope to do more of these races in the future - bring it on.

You understand that they're a safety whistle right? It's a live town with people walking and the whistles announcing a rider help to mitigate and reduce collision

Also, acoustically, the sounds have nowhere to go and bounce off the hard surfaces, as opposed to say downhill in a forest, where not only is there a lot of soft surface for the sound to be absorbed, but there is a lot of space between trees for it to travel in all directions and sound less loud directly within the track only
