A setup station is a very good investment, especially for 12th scale cars. 👍🏻

Never used to use a setup system when I ran LMP, used to use the old pound coin trick on the front tyres 😛. It was still brushed then so a few years ago 😂. And prep is everything, want to be doing as little as possible come race meet, hopefully just be making small setup changes

My kit build was clearly a way off of what it should be …

Racing is a bottomless pit of spending. People find they get into it, then need a setup station, tweak stand, droop gauges etc and soon the costs get to a point that limits entry to those with the biggest pockets. The hobby is (largely) very friendly and everyone wants to help others out, so if you want to save a few quid and probably get tips from the good drivers at your club then ask if you can ( for a few quid) borrow their setup station. Granted it makes sense for popalong as they run many classes at various tracks so will change setup often, but for those new to the hobby there's always a cheaper way to level up

The Tamiya racing was a great way into the hobby and did not require much in way of setup additions. Touring cars MTC and gt12 are a little more precise and therefore more tweaks need making

Great video very interesting to see the difference in performance through setup changes but what were they? Could we at some point see a video on setting up the atom 3 so that it works?
