7:00 I remember seeing this cutscene for the first time; It was 2013, 13 year old me saw the car for the first time and immediately fell in love with it, I had to get it! I wasn't skilled enough to get bronze on all three tracks, which at the time was the minimum goal needed to receive the car, so I practiced, hard. I managed to get bronze on Nürburgring GP and Monza within a few attempts, just Suzuka remained. I tried and tried to get bronze, but I was either too slow or ran off the circuit, but that wouldn't stop me, I was determined. I kept trying and trying, for *three months* now and still no luck, but I'm not giving up, not yet. On August 14th 2013, I did it, I finally got bronze on Suzuka and earned the car. I was so overwhelmed with joy and happiness, I broke down. All of my hard work and determination had finally paid off. Which just shows that if you really try your best and stay determined, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, no matter how long it takes. It took me a couple months of playing near daily to bronze all 3. They eventually made the bronze times much easier, but as far as I'm concerned, this challenge was the most difficult thing to do in Gran Turismo history. I remember bullcrappers saying they easily beat it on their first try. Lol. No way anyone did. That car's handling was absolutely nothing like any other vehicle in the game. Took a while to even get used to how fast it could take a turn.

"One of the hardest challenges in gran turismo 5" Uhm. Hardest challenge in any game literally ever. I don't have a wheel, and I have been playing this game for a good 8 years and have never gotten past bronze. I am positive 100% that you can't beat this with a controller. If someone has, I'd love to watch them do it with their hands on the controller... This is hands down the HARDEST thing to do in any game, ever. As someone who's beaten Ninja Gaiden 1-3 on NES, Batman on NES, Castlevania 1-3 NES, Ghost and Goblins, Dark souls 1-3... This is hands down. Impossible. The speed you have to react to is legendary, even worse you have to be super precise. Turn a little early, you're off the track, resetting the whole thing. Turn a little late, you're off the track, resetting the whole thing. It's challenge in a way that no other game will give you, and it's fucking brutal.

Update: I finally got to this challenge on Gran Turismo 6 (which, can I just say that Gran Turismo 6 sucks ass?) The challenge is easy as fuck. Yup. You do Red Bull Go karts, Red Bull kiddie carts, Red Bull regular karts, and then the actual challenge. I was able to get GOLD on every. Single. One. First try. It was an absolute breeze and you don't get anything extra for doing it. Even the time limits on Monza and Suzuki are way more lenient. To give you an idea, Monza Gold is like 1:14 in Gran Turismo 5. In 6, it's like 2:24 for gold. It's ridiculous, and the Red Bull car itself controls much better than it did in 5. To sum it all up: If you want the red bull car, do it in 6. If you want a game that is actually fun, play Gran Turismo 5.

I dont know, man. For me it was super hard to do the challenge on gt 6 (finished just today) because i was not used to gt5's level of f1 difficulty, but i have played for some time (something occurred with my save and i lost it - i was too frustrated to start all over again so i jumped directly into gt6) and i unlocked both national a license and the Sebastian Vettel Red Bull challenge and i started doing the Red Bull challenge to end it as fast as possible. And now i need to get used to the standard cars with a much lower downforce and tyre grip, but it will not be much of a problem.

To be fair, you can absolutely cheese the chicanes at Monza (especially the second one), so that one isn't that bad. I'm still trying to get the other two though, pain in the ass.

Im 7 years old and got gold on all tracks first try I complete all event except endurance event I dont have the attention span for endurance and it has a pretty bad time credit ratio

Suzuka was the only one I couldn´t do on Bronze with Controller back then. I ended up levelling the B-Spec to 35 to get the Car.

You need a Steering wheel. I mean a trick I learned with the controller, is use only the analog sticks to drive and steer. NOW HOWEVER, I do it in a way where this car won't jerk and loose control. I keep my thumb up on both analogs and then I for steering I slightly move it left or right while it still being in the up position, and the throttle analog is a slow and calm up center and down for brake movement. Most of the times I barely brake by having the throttle analog ever so slightly move down from center. ..... Huhh but all that work is only good enough for bronze though. I think only a steering wheel can get you gold. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Use MT, I could only gold it with manual because I can downshift faster to stop the car faster (Allowing me to brake late = faster lap time) and shift late enough (Faster on the straights).

NOTHING ELSE BUT PRACTICE. Words from someone who actuallly barely aced it (2:09.952 or 2:09.948,do not exactly remember, and who also got so many 2:10.0xx) But there is couple hints: 1) Use manual gearbox if you can. 2) I found this car very understeery, so I turned all of my assists off, including ABS, TC and SRF. I do not usually do that, but that was another case. 3) If your first lap is any worse than 1:06.3xx, RESTART IMMEDIATLY! Even a lap of 1:06.0xx is pretty tricky to manage. Try to aim your first lap under 1:06.0xx at all costs!
