When Ruby is cold on a Mullins horse in the media, it usually means it’s going to be one the better ones going forward. When he’s warm on one, it’s usually a sign to avoid.

So what if he looks red & sweaty ? What expression gives away a cert when on a Mullins horse ? I thought mostly everything Ruby rode for Willie at a Cheltenham or Leopardstown Festival was a cert or close.

My pick from them all last week was Caldwell Potter, who I wasn’t a fan of over hurdles but I am over fences. If Cobden can get him to settle just a tad then I think he can be a real good one. Shades of the Allmankind madness in there, but there’s a bit of class that he maybe didn’t have.

Could Willie be sending a couple to the Christmas hurdle at Kempton ? If he wants a chance at UK champion again he’ll have to target the top races , can’t rely on winning the National’s every year .

Ruby Ruby Ruby 5, in my day Night Nurse, Comedy of Errors, Monksfield, Bula, Lanzaroti, Sea Pigeon, and many more over a period of talent that will never be surpassed. One thing the above all have in common they did not get given a 7lb allowance. People just get excited too easily, Lossie (I adore) beat a 3 miler who many so-called experts say is an medioca division and a horse 5L in 4th that's almost 2 stone inferiour on ratings. Sir Geno could be anything, alas, it's with Nicky, so goes hurdle rout won't run unless a stone better than the opposition. Goes jumps, which I doubt will only run if Exeter put on a schooling race a few months before Cheltenham. (Be another wasted talent) Good news Mullins is not afraid to run his best against his best in order to find out who is the best. Fir thise who say "its not all about Cheltenham" yes it is😊
