I thought the way Protektorat was run, rather than the right handed track was to blame. He looked like he was really finishing the race well and he jumps much better from the front. Would have been a lot closer if he popped out in front and set a stronger pace than it turned out on the day.

Regarding Kitzbuhel... Colonel Mustard is 10 next year? Don't take his mark literally hes very likely regressing and Colonel Mustard would be one of the rags in the betting if he ran in a County Hurdle off that mark.
