It is both refreshing and propitious to see white people having an honest conversation about racism. Nobody can hope to move forward without first acknowledging where they have been.

@@queenmommie100 You asked me a legitimate question about reparations and then immediately branched off into a garbled fantasy based on a book that nobody knows who wrote it, when it was written, or how much of it tallies with the original accounts. I am in favor of reparations, but you're going to have to supply some backup evidence for everything else you claimed. For example: 1. Do you know the history of YHWH? 2. Do you know the history of the 12 tribes and why do you leave out the 13th? 3. Since The Bible is a collection of 66 books and letters, can you explain when and where they were put together and why so many others were left out? Many people profess a strong spirituality but are found to have little if any substance when challenged.

It's extremely disturbing to hear that Christian church people turned up in droves to see lynching of a black person. I can understand why teaching of the Critical Race Theory is a "no-no" in some states because people would have to be confronted with the terrible evils of their ancestors; they cannot continue to erase the experiences of black people any longer. ✴

From this discussion alone, there should be no more people carrying the banner, "Blakk Christians!". Every single denomination stems out of, and to this day, still teaches Yte Supremacy. The only resolution for us as Foundational Descendants, and the entire Diaspora is to, further uncover their wrong doings, and utterly separate ourselves from their "ungodly" views according to Matthew 18:15-17 KJV. They (as a Collective group) generally refuse to acknowledge their "sin!". This makes them true "Gentiles" and we are taught scripturally to COME OUT OF THEM, separate ourselves, and have no dealings with anything involving them (not their policies, politics, festivities/celebrations, don't intermarry, don't accept their flawed education, forego their genocidal healthcare system, stop eating their defiled foods, stop taking in their poison-drugs, cigarettes, liquor, etc.) Everything that this Western society is built upon involves them, and has been perverted by them. NOTHING IS UNTOUCHED! Now, you so called Blakk, Latino, 1st Nations Souls, you have a decision to make. Do what the most High Yah says do, and take on His ways, or perish with the Gentiles, and Unbelievers at judgement? Choose ye this day, life or death?

As a Black Pastor who was supported by the Southern Baptist Convention to plant a Church, it is good to see that Baylor University held this conference. I knew going in that the SBC was founded on the issue of slavery in 1845 after it separated from the General Baptist Convention at the Triennial Convention. I know it continues to be racist even to this day. Even today, the publishing arm of the SBC, Broadman Press, is named for two racist SBC pastors. One of the racist men, John Broadus, held the Bible for Confederate President Jefferson Davis at his inauguration. The other man, Basil Manly, was a chaplain in the Confederate army. The origin of the SBC reflects the racist theories created at universities Harvard, William and Mary, Yale, Princeton, Pennsylvania, Columbia back in the 1700s. This is why I am having conversations with my universities to address this issue at Duke, University of Missouri, and United Theological Seminary (Dayton) on how going forward with economic scholarships, fellowships, professorships, and economic support of Black workers and the Black community in their location. The SBC needs to also address how it will support Black churches economically in its convention. It is not an accident that poverty remains an issue in America and in predominantly Black churches. It was intentionally done and must be intentionally undone. On a personal point, my father was the head deacon at our family Church in Charleston, SC. In spite of being underpaid, he was a successful man growing a successful family and congregation. His white co-workers were so impressed with him that they invited him to become a member of their white SBC church in West Ashley. My father asked if he joined would he have the opportunity to become the head deacon at the Church. They said no he would not be given that opportunity. So, my father said well me, my money, and my skills will remain at my church, East Side Baptist Church. The Church was recently sold and relocated for $4 million dollars.

You as a black pastor had an obligation to confront your brother doing wrong. God' word tells us how to handle those that sin in the church. I knew something was wrong when I was fifteen and as I studied the bible I question them as a prophetess. All those denomination added up to nothing but confusion. You guys goes to man school laid out by the founding father that lean to their own understanding, when Jesus went back to heaven so our true teacher, the Holy Spirit, could come in and.teach us all things. Jesus' body was divided and the black church was never considered part of them. The church was made-up with out their four elderly to help run it, so the congregation was incomplete without all their gifts to aid in the running of it. Your prophet could have confronted them with God', word that do not go out and return void, that cut deep. Your power test in God' word used to address any issue facing the Church, but you guys do not know you are in a spiritual battle everyday We are just passing through this world, not part of it. We were never suppose to be leaning on politic as a.god according to 1 Samuel 8, so we left our King long ago. Repentance is before God' church but the pride and lack of spiritual growth allows many souls to be lost.

@Prince Campbell there are many ways to confront our brothers doing wrong. Especially when it comes to racism the choice may not be obvious. One way is to help people to "see" what they cannot see by demonstration. That is what Father Ferguson did. Instead of staying with the white SBC church that would not allow him to use his Godly potential, he demonstrated what is possible by starting his own church. That way the SBC could witness events that they did not believe was possible and that paves he way for future generations.

Why is there still a Southern Baptist Church ? Surely it is the epitome of a house built on the sand. Slavery was not a good reason for worship of God. I’m puzzled. Does not the very existence of this group of Christian’s defame the name of the Lord God ? My reading of the Bible tells me that the SBC needs to disband with fear and trembling, and repent of its sin.

I'm from Mississippi, Vicksburg to be exact. I lived in Jackson years ago. But never visited a white church down there. I thought it was an unspoken rule that we didn't mix. On my wish list for a church now, is that I NOT be the only black person in the crowd. I'm not interested in integrating at this time. I don't want to be a token. I feel like I should be able to attend ANY church and visit without feeling alienated, as long as it's called Christian and we have the same faith. I have been part of churches where I was next to or the only minority. I wasn't comfortable there, but the members were kind to me. I had been invited to the last church. But I could see the differences between my family, background, foundation and other cultural differences. I like mixed churches. I feel like if the church really wanted other ethnic groups in the church, they would have already had that happen before I got there. It's my understanding that the SBC kept the churches separated and segregated.

I also grew up in a Southern Baptist church. I'm 74 and was probably about 14 when they had a conversation in the church about what they would do if some black people were to show up at our church. I remember the pastor saying we should do nothing because the black people were just looking for trouble and we wouldn't give it to them. He said the black people would just go away then. It just didn't sound very Christian to me.

It didn't sound very Christian to you because it wasn't Christian at all. A lot of wh!te people think they are living their lives to get in to heaven but they have no problem at all treating black people and some other groups badly. Many of them have gone on to a place they thought would be Glory. They have found out that God didn't make them superior to any other human group. While on earth God gave them a choice on how to treat their fellow man. They choose to be cruel. The lesson was not learnt.

what is called the church today is not the Original true and Anointed church who were people genuinely Anointed to perform Real genuine Miracles, signs and wonders which existed over 1500 years ago. what is called the church today is not even set up the way the original true church was so long ago. in fact, there is not one word mentioned in End Time Bible Prophecy of the word "CHURCH" or the word "CHRISTIAN" especially in the last book of the cannon which after chapter four Prophecies of future Prophetic events for our time and beyond. however, there are other names given to the people of the Most High. but not church and not Christian. do you what those names are? what is called the church today was born out of the Reformation of the False Roman Church which took over during and after the true Anointed Church dissipated from the world scene many years ago and changed much of the truth of the Word Of Yah into a lie, adopting pagan traditions, holidays and the worship of the mother of Yahushua Hamashicach as well as changing the original day of the Sabbath. today what is called the church is an onslaught of protestant harlots which was born out of the False Roman church system. as of 2021...our world and current generation has entered the Beginning of the last decade of the end of the 6000 years. the 70th heptad will soon begin climaxing in Tribulation which will lead into Great Tribulation our generation has never known and has never had to endure. Yahushua Hamashicach is Prophesied to Return to earth in Flaming fire taking vengeance upon the gentile nations and ending their wicked Rule of the earth. no people will probably be judged as harshly as those who have and are currently pimping and prostituting the Word Of Yah for their own selfish and ungodly gain. in fact, it would probably be better for many of them, if they had never existed. "Prepare Yourselves" in Yahushua Hamashicach, the one the gentiles call Jesus, The Christ. Shalom.

“These professed christians read of the sufferings of the martyrs, and tears course down their cheeks. They wonder that men could ever possess hearts so hardened as to practice such inhuman cruelties towards their fellow-men, while at the same time they hold their fellow-men in slavery. And this is not all. They sever the ties of nature, and cruelly oppress from day to day their fellow-men. They can inflict most inhuman tortures with relentless cruelty, which would well compare with the cruelty papists and heathens exercised towards Christ's followers. Said the angel, It will be more tolerable for the heathen and for papists in the day of the execution of God's judgment than for such men. The cries and sufferings of the oppressed have reached unto heaven, and angels stand amazed at the hard-hearted, untold, agonizing, suffering, man in the image of his Maker, causes his fellow-man. Said the angel, The names of such are written in blood, crossed with stripes, and flooded with agonizing, burning tears of suffering. God's anger will not cease until he has caused the land of light to drink the dregs of the cup of his fury, and until he has rewarded unto Babylon double. Reward her even as she rewarded you, double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled, fill to her double.”
