I mean even Alcorn State band had several white Golden Girls dancers back in the day, and Miles College had one a few years back in the band and one in cheerleading (and these are just the ones I've seen myself, so I'm sure there have heen a lot more). So its very common and VERY normal to have white ladies/men in HBCU band and cheer organizations. Alabama A&M and Alabama State both have white drum majors, again its normal! The people commenting obviously have never been in these school organizations like we have, otherwise their eyes would have been open a long time ago to embracing EVERYONE no matter their race, gender or sexual preference. 😌😌😌❤️❤️❤️

She is absolutely fantastic, excellent, and perfect cheerleader. No one is gonna to stop her. Racist comment is going to the drain into the toilet to be gone to be free. It’s ugly to make these comments about her race because us Black ladies face these discriminatory comments in the White cheer organizations. My 8 year old daughter is a Black cheerleader for All-Stars and I love the diversity.

OH HELL NAW! I aint even watch the video yet. Who the fuck coming for our RiRi?!?! One thing for certain and two for SURE do NOT come for her! She may be the first White girl cheering at VUU but she's not the first White cheerleader on an HBCU team, let alone a CI team. Mariah is not new to this at ALL! Chile, she had a video uploaded of S&S tryout tips and everything a few years ago lol I remember when I first seen her cheering for her high school. I think it was called Warwick? I just remember maroon and gold lol but I knew she would excel on a collegiate team had she chosen to try out for one! She even created an entire Stomp & Shake team at her old college called Atomic Gold. That's more than what SOME of yall been doing 🙄👀 One of my OWN athletes is so inspired by Mariah! She first saw her on TikTok and was all, "Coach look at her! She eeeeats! Do you know about her? What's her name?" and I was like "Yeah girl, that's Mariah" 💁🏾‍♀️ My All-Star S&S team called The Wright Conpetition (TWC) happened to be at a comp that AGC was at and my athlete got to take a picture with Mariah. It was one of the happiest days of her life at the time 😂 I said all of that to sayyyyy, shut up and yall lucky I aint catch yall comments talking bad about Mariah. Leave that girl alone because she's definitely solidified herself as being one of those S&S cheerleaders that will forever be remembered NOT because of the color of her skin but because she's just that damn bomb, tf! KEEP SHINING MARIAH! YOU'RE A LIGHT IN OUR COMMUNITY! Your love and dedication to the sport of Stomp & Shake cheerleading is greatly admired. This is your last year, right? I love Mariah I remember watching her when she was in high school I’d love for her and Trinity to cheer together. People are going to talk because she’s the only white girl on a stomp and shake team which some people see as a black thing but she isn’t the only white stomp and shake cheerleader,I’ve seen similar comments on other teams with white cheerleaders.

If it wasn’t for Mariah I would have never seen the rah rah’s and Vuu cheerleading team , I had to go back just to see her process in getting in, I love the fact that she loves what she does and she does it very m, effin well!, the guys too, everybody on the team play their part. Just by being apart of the team you’re considered a “Virginia Union University Cheerleader” and to be a “Rah Rah” you have to earn throughout the season. Currently the only Rah Rahs on the team are the vets who became Rahs Rahs spring 23. All the rah Rahs that are on the team go to Virginia union besides Shaun he goes to vcu

I’m not gonna comment on all the stuff you said because that a whole can of worms. What I am gonna say is that it’s kinda hypocritical to show Mariah any race based disrespect when all she has done is enjoy and appreciate stomp and shake. She’s not trying to steal it or whatever you think she’s doing, she’s appreciating as it is with the community of people that it originates from.
