Here is my 5 cents worth of thoughts. She sounded more like demanding a forgiveness so that she could have her peaceful life back because she counted that enough apologies were made. I absolutely agree, that the WORLD has a racism problem, as places like Europe are notorious for their inherent racist tendencies (especially in places like Italy for eg). However, with the police brutality, deep rooted systemic and institutional racism alongside the continual denial of there even being a racism problem - America has one of the most noticeable and troubling racism problems in the west. Absolutely their size plays a part as it’s a big country, however things like guns, the history of America (slavery, slave patrols deriving from the police with little reform till this day!!) etc; it’s the reason most people think racism whenever they think of America…..well,,, that and many other things 😅
