Your English pronunctiation is very good. The trouble in differentiating between two words spelled alike but spoken differently is a tell-tale sign of a non-native speaker.

Story 4. NTA OP. My SIL put her cats into a cattery/kennel attached to a vets. She told them before she left for 2weeks vacation that they could not be fed together as 1 cat would eat everything his and hers. When SIL and BIL returned they went to pick up the cats. They were in their carriers and she didn’t notice until they were home that one was skin and bone underneath her fluffy coat. While the cats didn’t like each other (One had would be upstairs and the other downstairs. But the skinny cat had to cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge because of her being starved. The other cat pined and followed his sister a few months later. 😢

I am so sorry for your SIL. We give so much love to our little furry friends, and get back so much more. When, on occasion, life dictates we have to arrange for their care by somebody else, we think we've done the best we can for them - and when that person(s) fails we blame ourselves, even if we did everything right.
