The women were asked multiple times by the city council not to trap or feed the cats and that animal control was handling it.. And they were escorted off the property on multiple occasions. This time however they were stalling, continued to push the issue, and not leaving when clearly given the opportunity.. That's why they were arrested.. The elderly women should have taken it up again with the city council but instead they ignored repeated warnings.. Had it been the first or even second time and the police just arrested them,then I'd say shame on officers. The officers had a job to do and those women were given choices. The fault is their own..

@@larrysfarris What they are doing is being done all over the US. Yes people do trap, spay and rehome, as well as TNR (trap n release-they TRAP them, spay and neuter them and then re-release them). These two women are actually doing that city a favor-as you heard the officer say it's "a nuisance ." Spaying and neutering is costly. I don't understand why the officers don't give them resources to get in contact with to establish a TNR program with the city/county. A show of laziness or an "'i don't care" attitude-a direct reflection of the city, its government and Police Chief. Or poor training. The officer at 8:28 CLEARLY lacks training in DEESCALATION-he totally escalated it-he's a prime example as to why people hate cops. There was no need for him to speak to her with the tone, tenor and aggressiveness that he did., that was like bringing explosives to a water balloon fight.

I live in Palm Beach County Florida and it is totally legal to do this. If you bring the cats to Animal Control, theu will spay and neuter them for free, but I leave a donation. Then they are release in the same area where the person who brought them is legally required to be sure they are fed. I have save 19 cats so far and they live on my property and harm no one. They don't leave my propert because I feed them and they bother no one else in the neighborhood. Thoose two ladies are heroes and are treated like criminals. That city has it wrong.

It is not until the issue affect the city and even then it would have to affect the upper class society before they did something. They'd probably catch and terminate the cats too. Imagine it from the cops point of view : they dont want to deal with some old ladies trespassing bs, but its their jobs, so they warned them. Then there is another signal for trespassing, same folk, same place only few hours later, now if they dont deal with this its clear neglegance on their part. All the while they can be doing something more productive with their time, and the ladies clearly dont get that they are causing some trouble, so most likely they will be at cat feeding missions time and time again and again, resulting in more signals ,which have to be answered (even though the ladies arent hurting anybody and are being good people). My parents bought us four children one set of new clothes for school once a year, we were picked on, I was bullied and harassed very young but I never, I have never thought or wanted to take another life. My mother was not very maternal, she even admits that today at 89-yrs-old. My dad wasn't home as much as mom, he was always off doing something with my brother, camping, scouting, fishing, hunter, all of that. I was in a mental abuse relationship but I never wanted him dead, I just wanted him out of my life and worked for that.

She killed her GORGEOUS ex (Ryan Postin) when he told her to leave hIm alone.
