I have brewed thousands of gallons of just about everything. One thing I'd like to say is those simple cone over fermentation locks can't be beat. Easy to fill and clean, and there is no danger of "lock juice" getting sucked into your fermenter from a back pressure screw up. In fact, I have actually seen these same locks being used at micro breweries venting hundreds of gallons of brew :)

So I’m that guy that always packs Maple Syrup into my cider before fermentation. Got give that yeast plenty of sugar to eat if you want to make the booze. Nice video Dave and Amanda

Looking good you two. Nice setup for both the vinegar and the hard cider. Great into drone footage of your place and the surrounding woods. What a cool spot you guys have. Take care.

I would love to learn how to make this one day. I guess I could use bought cider? Oh and those carboys? I found a bottle like that on the side of the road,I believe the people at that particular house made wine…..how do you clean and sanitize those containers?
@Wilderstead3 жыл бұрын
You can get big long brushes for cleaning them at most wine making stores. That and we use hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. There are also various sterilizing agents available at wine shops.

I just love watching you two!! The inspiration and knowledge blend well with you perfectly!! But enough with the logic 😂😂😂 Where did you get the press?
@Wilderstead3 жыл бұрын
Love that! That particular press we got when we were living in Connecticut, from a small home brew type shop. The larger one we also purchased used. Great deals on both of them!
