That was a great review mate. Yet another one goes on my list!!! You made me laugh when you were looking at the manual and said that the putting it back together bit was the one you'd use the most; you and me both mate!!!! When me and my mates used to work on our bikes they'd only ever let me hand them the tools, never use them!! No one would have ridden a KH 750 that I'd worked on!!!

If you buy one, buy lots of mags. One of the greatest features of the 15-22 is the mag and the fact you can use them in a Kriss and CMMG (with converter), so everyone has them.

the small rail section on the end of the stock would be used to add a piccatiny sling plate adaptor of your choice for two point sling carry.

I bought one just aweek ago. I didn't see any reviews on it at all untill now. Just bought it because it looks like an Little version of the MP5. Just yesterday Sept 12/20. I went out plinking with it. I used CCI 36 grain hollow point vermant 1875 fps ammo. I did NOT use the HV ammo I was told to use. It was a real fun rifle to shoot. we were hitting a propane tank out at 157 meters only using the iron sights. and yet we were still able to hit our 1 inch steel target at 27 meters. all we did was ajust for hight aiming a bit high on the 157 meter target. I jammed up about 4 times shooting off about 200 rounds. this concerned me, but as I was told and reminded. I should be shooting CCI HV ammo. btw, Great review.

Great video, interesting here in Canada the safety Sally`s would be all over you for not doing the safety checks lol. This is one of the most informative videos on the internet, this GSG 16 is a must have. Over here they say every gun owner owns a 22lr, after this bad boy the saying will be every gun owner should own a GSG 16lr, love mine. The plastic is good quality plastic like the Kel Tec Sub 2000 gen 2. You know it`s good when you`re tempted to buy 2. Keep up the great videos I`m hooked.

Found the previous GSG15 22 had lots of stoppages. Is this version a lot better. Used S+W M+P1522 and Hammerli in mini rifle competitions with absolutely no stoppages. How you reckon this GSG16 compares.

Can the barrel extension be removed (yes this is illegal but for "cleaning" purposes), or is the barrel one solid piece? Also can a regular HK mp5 solid stock be fitted to the gun?

No its one piece barrel. It can't be shortened because of the collapsing stock.

That kind of round count shouldn't be an issue, I've have probably had 3 or 4000 through my 2nd hand sig 522 without one hiccup, its used at least once a month(well, not this year due to covid) .22lr's rounds don't have a lot of speed and most of the ammo usually isn't loaded hot enough to where throat errosion would become an issue/concern that it would wear parts out quickly compared to the likes of centrefire stuff, possible increase in wear if your using pretty hot ammo like CCI Velocitors where your trying to push distance on them or something, but i just use the cheap Eley ammo that my club sells and that runs around 1100fps, more than enough to cycle the action, as Rack says, keep it clean and keep it properly lubricated and it's run for years.

I have a gsg 15. Running remington gold bullets HV .....lots of fail to feed and double feeds. Any suggestions?

Don’t run rem gold. Mine likes CDI, and Aguilera a lot, no problems what so ever.. I had a few fails and jams with Remington for whatever reason. Covid loads probably.

German scheisse gewehr. Nice idea loved the mp5, but the build quality really lacking. Owned one it smashed itself to bits. Same with gsg 1911 LBP, nice but had to rebuild it so I could sell it.

How many rounds did you run? Did you clean the guns or just fire them until they failed?

1911 or mp5. In reference to the 1911 lot of wear occurred to the slide. Locking up on the magazine in stead of slide release. Which lead to magazine hard to remove from the firearm. Feeding ramp need reshaping. Had to replace the slide on it in the end and change springs. Must have fired 6-10k rds. Cleaned with a pull through and brush on all working parts with light lubricant. About every 500 rds approx, which I could use in a weekend. When training and shooting competition. In the end I bought the k22. Had no real problems with it but it's double the cost of gsg 1911.

You don't have a foregrip or 110 round drum mag... And considering that an extra banana mag can be stored in the butt of the gun giving you 132 rounds yotal, now that's fun...
