I was in Dr. Reynertson’s film-studies class, Theatre 230, in 1971-72. Great class, though to sit and watch a film, even a great film, at 3:30 invariably put one to sleep. My wonderful classmates included Kathy Daniels, Nettie Barrie Canada Wilde, and Ed Astley. And the TAs were Tom Braidwood and a guy named Kurt. I’m sure I still have a short essay I wrote - maybe on WILD STRAWBERRIES - and I can see the little note in red: ‘Good analysis. 125/150. TB’ Years later I enjoyed watching Tom with Tamahnous. There was a funny play in which Anna Hagen and David Peterson played two talking ducks. And Tom played a mystical old hippy, wandering through the woods and gently chanting his mantra: ‘bushbushbushbush’ He was a delight, and it’s great to see him (and to see you, Stevie) in this interview now. 💙
