How to install new mods onto a modpack: go into your modpack settings in curse (the 3 stars button next to play) ➡ profile options ➡ check the box that says: allow content management for this profile ➡ click add more content button (jigsaw puzzle icon under the play button) ➡ search for the mod you want to add ➡ click install ➡ dunzo

- deleted No Night Vision Flicker mod (delete it from the rad 2 folder. if you don't it will make your shaders look like you have permanent night vision all the time)

- Deleted ultimine blacklist so you can veinmine stone = /config/paxi/datapacks/ultimine_blacklist/ open up that file and delete all the blocks (you could prolly just delete the file too)

Huge tip for beginners out there you can buy a stack of logs in the coin shop for 1 copper coin you can also get a stack of uncookrd beef for 1 copper so make sure to save copper coins

Small tips for leveling Endurance + Combat + Magic is making a spell from Ars nou that Self + Harm + heal with some modified you should be able to spam it like dampen the damage or amplifed it for faster leveling.

A lot of quests in the quest book give levels of experience. Make sure you take all of your XP out of your backpack before claiming since higher levels are worth so much

Got like 270levels because i never claimed them. If i got rewards little by little id have gotten so much less. Also, if you have a place to store them, like a xp block, you can save them all and use them lil by lil

For netherite mining, take a ars nouveu book, put projectile, 5 split (if you can) explosion and AOE up to 5, go bedrock deep in he nether and blow up that netherack, the aoe make it break way more block than amplify, because amplify adds damage to explosion but not size (Maybe not better than the xray brazier but it destroys the netherack for you and its a overall big boom boom spell for cleaning)

And dont forget to take a mana regen potion and/or get yourself some ars nouveau jewerly wich help with the lack of mana, or for a easier regen you can craft rolls with the ars nouveau berries, wich give a good mana regen and can be eaten when hunger is full

tip from me on farming endurance early on.. find a library structure, they have witch spawener... witch attack using poison, it does not do that much damage, does not reduce you armor durability and give decent endurance exp (+combat exp, and it drop sugar, just slap that on the spawner, it decrease spawn delay) plus i munch on spider eye while waiting for witch spawn... SUPER EARLY GAME, I basically farm this with starter armor, 1 cactus sword, 2 flint sword to reach lvl 20 end

good idea. some guy actually made a self-poison spell and just kept it on all the time for permanent endurance xp farm 🤣

i was able to grind endurance by having 2 spell books (because switching spells wile grinding is not my jam). One book set to a self regen spell and book 2 is a self poisoning spell. Keep both effects going wile wareing the right gear and endurance goes up just fine, and if you do it in the nether it gives even more boost to endurance. Smithing became easy using books.

@@Deolegion777 literally just regular unenchanted books which can be made using paper and string, among other possible replacements for the leather part of the recipe, the books can be salvaged for paper. Then once your smithing is high enough switch to using netherwart. its 2x2 recipe makes a block that can me salvaged to a 0-9 netherwart so once your salvage is high enough you literally make more from nothing as it takes 4 to make and you can get over double that back. combine this with a backpack ment to pick up the parts and restock a slot on your belt with what your salvaging, and remake the block form using the weaker compress upgrade in the backpack and boom... automatic smithing w/o an end. Maybe we can play sometime and learn some tricks from each other. 😁

@@Deolegion777 also to add, books are easily obtained without making them, just take up bookshelves without silk and you get 3 per shelf. They can be found in ok numbers in villages or if your up to it find a stronghold that has the end portal in it and you should find at least one but sometimes more libraries that hold hundreds of bookshelves. On my current world with my wife we found a stronghold that had enough libraries to give me over 3,000 shelves. Ended with over 7,000 books from them.

I have a trick for magic exp😂 using a frost walker boots and walk on water can provide infinite magic exp, and it's like no cost at all, you can do it while traveling

Big tip I forgot to mention yesterday! If you find a mimic spawn egg you should use it to change a regular spawner! They will keep dropping tons of artifacts/relics. It should probably get patched but it's a fun exploit. Dont know where I got the spawn egg but it must be pretty rare. Only other one I've got is for tortoise (the ones with ore on them) which isn't very useful at all.

@@Deolegion777 You right click it on the spawner. Its a vanilla thing but usually not used outside of creative. For those looking for it I think it came from one of those red loot chests that you can get from quests. I got a horse egg from those yesterday.

With the enchanted library, when u enchant the book shelves do you have to get Infused hell or just any other enchant, and if so what are some ways you can get that Infused? glad to see someone making great RAD2 content

you have to make some netherack shelves first and add them to your enchanting setup to get your enchant level up to 45, THEN you enchant the netherack shelves on the enchanting table. thanks, I hope I've been able to help you with my videos 🙂

you have to add a Extend Time Glyph after you throw in the ancient debris. that will increase the buff timer to 15 minutes. I think you can keep adding extend time glyphs to make it longer, but I'm not sure about that

The flying thing you showed saved my ass from a sea serpent that was chasin me. I had forgotten they can go on land. But the main issue I have is mana regen but I guess I could get farm a bunch of those berries or something.

nice lol. make sure to get mana boost + mana regen enchants on all your gear, and use the discount rings from ars. also the ars wand and armor if you want to go full mage.

Killing boss mobs(they spawn after lightning or underground in small rooms with special spawner) will drop their gear with good enchants and enchanted gear from dungeons. Maybe not very efficient way, but I got a lot of mending books like this.

yeah that's why I said in the video to kill the ender dragon. you get mending enchant VERY easily in End dungeon chests 🙂

thanks! here's a good list of enchants for ya Weapons = spartan weapon, slayer, ares grace, life leech (the other life steal enchants suck, this one is on hit life steal rather than on kill life steal), one man army, vorpal, critical hit, frost aspect (slows and weakens enemies!) Armor = adept + air/aqua affinity (helmet enchants for air/water mining), chilling rebuke, vitae, safeguard (most OP defensive enchant in rad2), bone armor, dodge, double jump (very nice utility!), mana boost, mana regen (mana boost + regen on all your gear if you’re a magic user)

@@meux7994 yeah they changed it so spartan doesn't work with alot of enchants in recent patches. just use spartan weapon if you have a high level of it (only enchant that might be better than spartan is blessed blade). and yeah they nerfed the enchant limit also in recent patches, it used to be 15. (imo, Spartan + mending + frost aspect + Life Leech + Ares Grace are mandatory)

that's a netherite paxel. Idk if they're still in rad2, they may have gotten taken out. you have to actually use silk touch and get diamond ore for the scrying ritual to locate more diamonds

I think it's important to not grab your pmmo levels when you're just starting also as they're easy to get in the beginning, it's better to use them much later on or when you get close to a high level threshold to unlock something like an armor tier or something

For the wither skulls, I don't think a scythe is necessary as you can find failed wither spawners in some of the dungeons in the nether (they are Withers with two heads) and these have a 100% chance to drop a wither skull 😁

I've noticed that some level up rewards from quests either increase the skill up a whole level while some just add a few hundred points, I'd just advise getting what you need when you need it

I agree with the xp idea. problem is most people are impatient, so I'm just trying to steer the normies towards endurance cuz that's the best thing to help them in the long run. I still haven't found one of those wither dungeons you guys are always talking about lol. 🤣 I feel it's wayyyy easier to find a wither skele spawner in a roguelike dungeon and use a scythe lol.

sometimes it's jenky/buggy and you need to turn off the xp mend button and turn it back on in the xp backpack settings.

Ancient gear from dungeon armor are way too good to farm, can give u armors that are much stronger than netherite and pretty early. Was capped armor/armor toughness day 3 with pink hearts (later cuz thats just vitality + vitae + affix stacking) of the pack, also delayed wither enderdragon cuz I thought that capped stats meant nothing xd But yeah no mobs does dmg to me anymore So technically since armor n stuff is capped, dragon steel armor is useless, making it even worst than dungeon armor since it has multiple stats added (affix tome only get one of them AND destroy the item, so no, u can't get multiple and transfer)

yeah the devs told me, I guess ancient armor is bugged and not supposed to be dropping that much. and yeah they need to add xp boosts to the endgame armor and then we'd actually use it lol

@@Deolegion777 the real problem is the armor cap, mobs not doing enough dmg. Since ancient(actually even uncommon/rare/epic) dungeon gear can get u armor/armor toughness cap + attributes such as health AND stuff like melee, ranged, magic damage multiplier, other armors are just completly useless since they do cap your armor/toughness but dont provide the other stuff

1.) I would consider this more of an exploit rather than a feature, but archery is also a bit of a pain to level…unless you find a seeker bow in twilight forest! Enchant it up to something great and fire away at distant enemies. PMMO takes shot distance into account and the seeker allows you to make shots from unreasonable distances, meaning you can get shots rewarding 2-3 MILLION archery xp. 2.) I’m not sure how to properly access the Ice and Fire Mausoleums, but you can teleport in using the bell from one of the meet your fight bosses. Farm a bit and get a dread knight sword, incredibly good especially with enchants and one of the best simple swords. And while the dragon steels are better, it is a fair bit easier to get early on

yeah I heard about the distance archery idea, I gotta remember that for when I level archery! I guess for the mausoleums you have to kill a rare mob that spawns sometimes out side of mausoleums and he has a 10% chance to drop the key for the crypt. thanks for the tip for the bell, I have to try that! (and yes very smart idea about using the Dread weapons early!)

sounds like a skill issue 😋 (JK JK!) it's prolly your shaders tbh since you use different ones, they prolly just aren't as optimized as complementary shaders. you have a similar processor and ram as me as well?

I prefer the scroll of ageless wisdom over the backpack upgrades for xp storage since it holds more. I keep some xp in the tank & pump for mending and waystone fees.

yeah I used to do that too, but it takes 10 years to extract/put in xp with the scroll of ageless wisdom. xp backpack instantly extracts/puts xp into the player

@@Deolegion777 ain't that the truth. But like you said earlier, gotta find that medium to not waste xp. The scroll doesn't have precision like the tank n pump, but the pump only holds 33 levels.

Good video with really helpful stuff. Still I need some help. I got a problem, that I can't level up alchemy properly by making potions. Any solution to this or this is just a bug with no fix? And also how can I level up my light?(it's also a skill like endurance, combat etc)

Idk about alchemy lol, I think it may be bugged. cuz yeah I can't level it either. I think you can level it with quest XP rewards, but I wouldn't suggest that. Light is leveled up by killing certain undead monsters I believe. such as: Atum mummies, I think the flesh monsters from Undergarden, Ice and Fire Dread Skeletons from the Mausoleum too I think, and other monsters from other dimensions I don't remember lol

@@Deolegion777 nah, can't level it up with quest xp, only by crafting some items, like golden apples, blaze powder etc. Yes, light is indeed from mausoleum mobs. Still can't find a key to this. Hovewer sometimes mobs spawn outside, nice bug)

you used to be able to level alchemy with quest xp, but he took it out. Mausoleum key drops from a rare mob that spawns outside the mausoleum sometimes. you can also get the bell from meet your fight and teleport through the Mausoleum walls, try that 🙆‍♂️

Here is a great tip for anyone getting into RAD2, don't equip the ring of the sevens sins, it's basically a keep inventory Binding item, unless you're ready to remove it with the unholy stone, (Basically jump into the sea of lava in the nether with unholy stone in inventory and the ring will destroy itself. Don't make the same mistake I did......

I never really bothered with bandages. The bleed is just annoying but it goes away quick enough.

You can easily get iron and level combat using one of the fey wild libraries. Destroy the doors and then spam the bell. An iron golem will spawn. Walk outside the doors and kill it. Do this over and over!

so basically you play minecraft and your skills get stronger as you play. so combat will increase your weapon damage, endurance will give you more health and damage resistance, etc... just give it a try and you will see. it's very addicting in the beginning!

yeah it's becuz the firework star is a shapeless recipe that has tons of variations. just combine gunpowder + dye and it should make the star for you just fine.

yeah you need to kill the brown wilden that fly in the air like flying squirrels I think. I don't really pay attention tbh, I just kill wilden occasionally and they drop horns, fangs, and wings. try getting looting 3 on your weapon and increasing your luck with potions/trinkets

yeah but that scroll takes 10 years to input/output XP to/from the player. XP backpack INSTANTLY does input/output of XP. so yeah if you like waiting forever for your XP to move then sure use the scroll 🤣

@@Deolegion777 the pros outweigh the cons against the backpack, being able to hold unlimited levels, easier access, and can easily absorb all of your exp without issue is very good, yes the backpack is faster but it holds so much less, and requires more work for it to be automatic. Plus playing on multiplayer, you can share the scroll around and keep everyone's levels safe and sound

endermen aren't in the nether afaik. just go to the End lol, you will find ARMIES of enderman very easily. if you need ender pearls, find a tower dungeon in the overworld (they are everywhere, they look made out of stone or bricks). there's usually at least 1-2 enderman spawners in these dungeons. then after you get 4 ender pearls, make a enderman pearl gate and farm unlimited ender pearls very easily.

Another huge tip for beginners out there if you looking to increase your endurance and you manage to find a unholy grail item then damage yourself while holding that item since if you hold the unholy grail then the Effectiveness will increase by 75% also if you can use a sin pendant(makes you eat faster) EDIT: sorry if you tried it and it didnt work I checked it and it doesnt work anymore

you have to download shaders and put them in your shader folder, then activate them in the shader menu inside the game. download link is in the description. (be aware that shaders tax your pc, so you need a good pc to use shaders)

I think Light is only used to equip voidsteel armor at the end game. You can level it up by killing dread skeletons in Ice & Fire mausoleums, mummies in Atum, and I think the zombie monsters in Undergarden as well?

I don't think so. I only got several ancient gear early on and used those to rip off ancient affixes. the devs may have nerfed it since.

man I really need to make that affix guide video lol... so for example if you want a affix from a rare item (blue item), you have to cook another blue item on the soul campfire, get that blue shard, combine it with the tome of scrapping, then use that blue affix tome on the gear you want to strip of the affix, then combine that with the gear you want to buff.

For your fell spell, get the void jar and whitelist the logs you get from the trees. The jar will convert whatever is whitelisted into mana. This is great foe leveling up woodcutting. Put your best woodcutting gear in and go clear out a redwood forest. Also works great for mining. Projectile>piercex3>break>aoex2>pierce. Add in an extract to get the ores instead of diamonds etc.

@@John-ss7cr yeah, your enchant stack sounds good. -sharpness won't work with spartan in the newer rad2 versions -ender mending is broken so use regular mending instead (you can break your weapon in long fights with ender mending). -Scavenger is nice for more loot drops as well. -Vorpal is really good crit also. -Fire Aspect (or fire gloves) + Ifrit's Blessing + put yourself on fire adds exponential dmg) -Blessed Blade might be better than Spartan, but I have never gotten it. Useful tip: in ars nouveau there is a glyph called bounce (tier 1) it’s useful too with leap I have yet to play this pack so not sure if it works

you can use dragon eyes but they are fickle, and more often than not, lead you to dragon bones instead. you could use the mob radar if you want. I would just fly around over the ocean or surface looking for dragons. eventually I got tired of looking and just farmed the ender dragon for like 2 hours or something lol. (I did kill like ~20ish dragons in the overworld tho)

it may be a trinket you have equipped. there's a trinket or enchant (I can't remember...) that takes away heart containers when you take fatal damage and the only way to fix that is die or go to sleep I think? go look at all your enchants on your gear and trinkets lol
