@@MrXewrath some people just deleted the new food mod and put the old lunchbox mod back lol. only solution for the new mod is just using a autofeeder upgrade and swapping the foods on the allow list, that's what I do.

Pro tip: After reaching the nether, place a waystone on the spot. Then go explore until you find a beacon, mine it, and have 4 gold blocks with you as well. After that go find the stalwart dungeon that has spawners for incomplete withers and armoreded blazes. Then place your beacon, the 4 gold blocks and another waystone, make the area safe and voila, now you have a blaze rod, wither skeleton skull and xp farm all in one place and this is gonna help you immensely to get through the mid-game

you can't place waystones in the nether unless you're on creative mode. or did he change that lol? I heard about those dungeons, and I still haven't found one lol

I found 2 or 3 in the first hour of nether exploring so i deduced they are pretty common. Also i placed the waystones myself so you can totally do that. My game version is 0.96 btw. Also the stalwart dungeon i,m talking about is a square shape with a ghast looking structure in the middle; the whole building pretty much looks like a square citadel made of nether bricks

Pro tip about the leap spell: with the teir 1 spell book you can't get slowfall but you can get bounce which gives you like a slime block effect so you bounce on everything. Makes it so you don't take fall damage and since at teir 1 you don't have a lot of mana you can use the spell more sparingly but still maintain forward motion cuz you keep bouncing forwards

Tip: The Crafting remote is always the go-to. The 4 Sea lanterns is pretty easy to get, it's the Lvl 1 trade with the Oceanographer.

/forceload is the command you have to use to load your chunks for your storage chests. ALSO I forgot to say in the video, don't forget to set your keybind for the storage remote! super helpful! (you still need to keep the storage remote in your inventory though, not your backpack!)

Tip: craft a Glazed Yam it is an easy food to make and gives you 12+ saturation better than a golden carrot(although it doesn't give you strength) it requires you to get 4 yams(get a yam seed which you can get from breaking grass) and a honey bottle, it's very easy to get honey bottle since if you craft an oak nest(or any logs) and get yourself to the bumble zone by using an ender pearl and throwing it on the nest. bumble zone is a dimension where there are a lot of honeys and you can get out of the dimension from falling in the void in Y=0

A tip for op food items:-from rats mod get a rat then a rat chef upgrade and use the rat by giving it assorted vegetables (very easy to get)then it gives you rats mod super food it's basically enchanted golden apple on d*rugs Edit:- another tip arsnovue break spell can be upgraded by amplification without it mining level is iron with amplification 1 it is mining level dimond then netherite I don't know if it goes above it requires gathering 30 and netherite requires gathering 60

BTW if you have that slot that gives you like 0.6+ attack speed it's best if you give it a good use, get a iron club(16 damage with 0.6 attack speed) and then go to the autum dimension and get that iron club which can be found from chest in the dimension in theory it should be 16 damage with 1.2 attack damage(without combat bonus) it is very good and in my case I was able to deal 70+ damage with it, it's completely broken but the autum 2 dimension is pretty dangerous

I just started playing this mod pack a few days ago, and this helped me out quite a bit since i had been ignoring magic for the most part, i wasnt aware it was so strong lol. Now I can give myself magic shield and regen 5 and basically never die. The food thing is outdated now though, they updated the food mod, it also deleted the golden lunchbox and everything inside of it, which was kinda annoying.

for progression, yeah just keep raiding the overworld dungeons until you feel comfortable moving on to the Nether, then move onto the End, etc etc... this video covers alot of the trinkets/gear you should be getting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXW3c6ylo5eEmK8 also remember you can buy trinkets that you are missing from the diamond coin shop (you can farm diamond coins by selling nether stars from the wither) for affixes, you have to use a tome of scrapping (I think it's called???) and take the affixes from items. you have to be using the correct color affix tome for the same color item. (so green affix tome for green item, blue for blue, etc.) and you get color shards from cooking affix gear that you don't want in a soul campfire. Oh and also I think you have to use the smithing table for affixes, not the anvil. I could be wrong, I don't remember lol. I'll do a TED talk about affixes next time I stream lol.

Hey do you have a specific way of building up your xp? My bro and I just grind killing monsters in those long form dungeons but certain mishaps can cause death and we use xp tomes to store, so thanks for the xp backpack tip. But how can you use enchantment books to stack correctly since they get really expensive too like I messed up needing 139 levels to make my sword rly op with all the dropped books we've gotten. You have like 360 cuz you're a long time player but maybe you have tips for early to middle players. We're actually at that point where we have mending and good enchantments on our dia tools at like almost 60 endurance but I kinda wanna have the most op sword enchants. Thanks a lot if you decide to make a vid covering this!

We're also just nomads we don't really have a big base, we just use bag of yurting for a portable base and have double jump V or speed so we just travel that way. I guess we should look into apostheosis but we actually get pretty good book drops or in chests. That's how I needed a crazy amount of exp needed to make my sword op, I made the book already, not on the sword, so big mistake?

so you can reset the xp penalty on your sword by disenchanting it with corail tombstone disenchant book. then use the enchanting library to make 1 mega book with all the enchants you want on it and then use the anvil to place it on your sword. if you keep putting on singular enchants on a item the level cost starts getting rediculous. Level up your corail tombstone xp keep skill. it makes it so you don't lose xp on death anymore at level 5. but yeah other than that, I just use the emblem of the monster slayer and just kill stuff. (you can farm enderdragon for massive xp)

Pro tip: The autofeeder upgrade does not work with the Ambrosia enchantment that you can put on the lunchbox, which makes it so that whenever you eat it completely fills both hunger and saturation bars Regardless of the food consumed. Btw I got the Ambrosia enchantment by rerolling the enchanter villagers

Ambrosia III also provides the Saturation buff. The other OP thing is this makes you easily increase your food variety, not having to take into account the hunger and saturation the food provides, because, as i said above, it completely fills them regardless

yeah really the only thing you can do is run rad2 with more ram in your curse modpack settings. also turn off shaders if you're using them. and when in doubt, like due lee said, try the rad2 discord

delete the "noNVflicker" mod in your mod folder. Dreams removed that mod in the latest version of RAD2, so go update your rad2

I think you can get them from enchanting villagers. I get all mine from treasure chests. once you get to the End you get tons of mending in End dungeons

yeah try it out. it's definitely different than rad1, worth a try though. yeah you use the smithing table to reroll modifiers on gear. for repairing items you just do it on the anvil at 1st, then mending enchant eventually

Hi Deolegion, My friends and I are very new to this modpack and we all join a team together with pmmo so when one person completes an achievement we all get it. One person claimed a specialization and it ended up giving it to all of us. Is there a way to reset it for everyone else so we can choose our own specialization or are we all stuck with the same one?

I think you would have to leave the team, then individually reset your quest progress with an editor or maybe deleting the quest file for your character? you'd prolly have to ask on the rad2 official discord, because I am not an expert at the quest mod lol

magic is absolutely broken in this modpack lol. you can utterly break alot of the game systems. I think melee weapons with +10 enchants will still out-dps magic though. (you can make very strong dps spells if you're wearing all mage gear for sure though) but magic's utility spells are unparalleled...

So… blaze rods, ghast tears, and some other things are super easy. Find a village, trap a hunter in his hut or some other villager you make into a hunter, use the villager education tomes to make him a master or just level him up by buying stuff. Profit.

You don’t actually need access to the nether to get the tier two spellbook. There is an area on the third floor of the rogue dungeons that usually has about six quartz blocks in front of spawners that have chests behind them. That’s usually enough for two spellbooks as you can get diamonds a couple of different ways and blaze rods from your dealer… I mean hunter.

Ars nouveau spells are key to success. Ranged break is perfect to take out spawners but light can basically disable them before you get it by casting a few at it and then surrounding it with light when you get close.

probably, I always enable cheats on all of my worlds. you can also use the FTB Chunks mod to force load your storage chunks, that's what I do now in my new playthrough

back when I was playing rad2, it seemed to be bugged out lol and you wouldn't get xp from brewing potions. if they still haven't fixed that, you may have to use the xp rewards from quests or the coin shop (I would recommend only using coin shop to level alchemy. unless you really love alchemy that much lol)

the latest rad2 version seems to run alot better than older versions, so update if you haven't. other than that, run it with more ram if you can. or also turn off shaders. beyond that, Idk what else to tell you besides buy a new PC lol. unfortunately modded minecraft is always gonna be VERY cpu intensive... ☹

use tnt to blow up mobs, or else go mine a bunch of source gem ore until level 5 magic. then craft Ars Nouveau spell book and start using spells to level up. shadow is leveled up by killing villagers or else go craft ~400ish Straw Effigy so you can use Dreadsteel armor

@@Deolegion777 For pants it is just swiftfooted that makes me faster, it is really the boots enchants and phalanx for the shield. For the boots you need double-jump, rush, shadow meld, shadow glide and speed-boost And reforges can also give speed, although I'd not really recommend targetting it all that much... Get legendary on your sword, it gives 5%. And some of my artifacts have quick on them giving me 4% aswell... One of my legendary bracelets also progged speed on 3rd roll. You will be extremely fast during the day, and ZOOMING at night

go to smithing table and put the item + resource used to make the item. it costs 1 ingot (for example) per reroll. so for example: put iron chest + iron ingot on smithing table and click the hammer button. take off the item to see reforge results. (I think it's bugged so you have to take the item off the table and put it back to see the results lol)
