It is easy, especially for someone who goes to the gym often. I have a dad bod closer to the fourth guy, but I'm working on it. Rad bods have lesser subcutaneous deposits. When they make facial expressions, their facial skin folds much easily and deeper. That's how you can almost tell someone's health and fitness levels without having viewed their physiques. I used to have a fuller face, but since starting to workout I lost a substantial amount of weight, and my facial grooves became deeper and more pronounced when smiling or frowning.

“Mom-bods” aren’t something people thirst over like “dad-bods” are. People make fun of moms who aren’t in shape, but women (and gay men) on social media thirst over men with dad-bods. Women and gay men don’t really seem to be into super buff men, and it is more of a standard held up by straight guys themselves. Like when Thor in God of War Ragnarok was designed to be fat, women thought the design was attractive, and straight men all over the internet complained about how they thought the character looked unattractive and weak. So until “mom-bods” are thirsted over and found to be attractive like “dad-bods”, something like this video wouldn’t work.

This segment made me uncomfortable. They were body shaming “dad bods” and were forced to make judgements. You can tell she was uncomfortable by it too. And the fact that they didn’t give the same treatment to “dad bods” compared to “rad” bods for the body oil shows how the network itself is perpetuating body shaming. I love this show, but this segment was not it.

I don't think it was shaming seeing as they agreed to be part of a game they saw as fun. They wouldn't go on if they had issues. Also, for muscular people, they often put oil or tanning lotion on them to make the muscles pop. It was probably just an oversight that they didn't offer oil to the people with no muscles.

I used to go to the gym in my youth (talking college and HS). You end up being able to tell who does physical exercize from those who don't just by their faces. It's sort of like being able to tell twins apart, because you see them all the time. I'm sure that's how Mark is able to tell from just their face.

@@bradyblankenship9182 I am always one to preach that people should be living in healthy bodies, however I also say people should live in a body that makes them feel comfortable and safe. Those guys are no obese, most of them look like they are healthy but just live life different to someone who works out all day. To say that they should lose the weight in order to get treated fairly because "They have an issue with it" is discrimination. The fact is the show was glorifying "The Rad Bod" while dissing the "Dad Bod". But again who are we to judge and say which is less attractive, if they are healthy and eat healthy what's wrong with a little meat on someone. TBH I found the first guy way hotter in my eyes over any of the "Rad Bods". All I am saying is that they should have all been oiled up or not oiled at all, to have been treated fairly because in the end it ruined the game any way as Marc figured it out.

Attractiveness is a spectrum where beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, as I for one I did not find the rad bods attractive and found some of the dad bods more attractive. So if you were referring to the "rad bods" being attractive and the "dad bods" not, then your comment doesn't work. As a personal preference if you prefer someone who worked out and had a more toned body so be it, but to label only that body type as attractive is a narrow point of view.
