Branagh is seriously underrated as an actor. He did a brilliant Hamlet. But Fiennes' Hamlet was out of this world.

Is it possible to see the entire discussion? I’m not an actor and I don’t plan to be. I’m interested in the analytical and creative process broadly, but none more than in acting. I’m a designer and always trying borrow from other fields.

I can already predict that at some point in the next 20 years or so, these two are going to star in a production of Waiting For Godot in the west end, and tickets will be so expensive you’ll need to remortgage your house for a seat up in the gods (apart from the 2 or 3 in the front row for a fiver each, which will be available on an “accessible theatre for everyone” scheme sponsored by an oil company).
