I'm glad that none of the sentinels in the tree don't have the same role as the night cavalry, imagine you kill the horse and it fights on foot and have the ability to conjure the horse back, and if they had that ability the bastard of the sentinel with dragon powers would be harder than many bosses.

Once you get over the fact that Radagon is a god, it's strange how important he is but how singularly unremarkable he seems. His attacks neither have the strength and weight of Godfrey's, nor the economy and mastery of Malenia's. His magic, while stylish, doesn't evoke the grandeur of Radahn's or the terror of Maliketh's. He doesn't have the intelligence of Mohg, who founded an entire school of incantations, and isn't remembered as a King and statesman as legendary as Morgott. And yet, he was the undisputed King, whose Golden Order none dared oppose before Marika shattered the Elden Ring. Even Marika could not oppose their marriage (orchestrated to sire children to eventually replace her) when she never wanted it, and was afraid of him somehow 'becoming' her (given by the bedchamber dialogue), which prompted her to shatter the Elden Ring in the first place. Makes you wonder what reality-altering powers he actually wielded as the sword of Order and the instrument of the Greater Will when the Elden Ring was whole.

i love how much mental gymnastics these lore hunters do 1stly there is no clear prowess of radagon he was a simple warrior 2ndly he was puppet of golden order and pawn for marika(puppet king) 3rdly during radagon's reign strength of any sort wasnt seen as criteria for being a king contradictary to godfrey's era so no radagon was not the strongest almighty dude out there he was siple warrior or male alternative of marika(depends on personal views)

He is clearly a shell of his former self (Godfrey is still at his prime, while Radagon is shattered). He founded Golden Order Fundamentalism and their incantations. Mixing faith with intelligence, sorcery and incantations. He is remembered as a great champion. And a lord for a less barbaric age. Saying he is unremarkable is unfair. As to why Godfrey is more revered, remember that Godfrey was a very prominent figure in the early age of the Erdtree. War of the Giants, crushing small civilizations, taking over Stormveil Castle. While Radagon seems to be someone who is constantly in the background. Seems unremarkable because he isn't seen by a lot of people. He's mere existence is a mystery to everyone. He is behind everything, he is the reason why no demigod or tarnished attempted to repair the Elden Ring. Morgott asumed he was working for the good but was only helping Radagon. Gideon is also manipulated by Radagon. The reason why nobody ever replaced the Golden Order was because Radagon didn't let that happen. He couldn't, his own identity completely became one with his golden order. He couldn't let his broken world to be replaced. At least that's my interpretation anyways.
